A shame no Craig Cook. Really the Edinburgh promotion should have done better in attracting a guest. Weather set fair. Warm and dry. Good crowd expected. Heading off in 45 mins.

I'm on the train now from Bournemouth. Arrive WINborne Road 345pm.

C'MON THE BOYZZZZZ :t:

If every 1 says no how can Edinburgh do better than that?

Not the plan.

All Monarchs on a guaranteed minimum so just need to take it easy and let Poole have to dig deep to pay the Poole team.

Bonus points back in the averages calculations for next season so can't even fiddle the averages.

So it's a win/win for nearly all of us even if we get hammered.

R/R now confirmed on Monarchs' website. Difficult to believe that none of King, Schlein, Kerr, Howarth, R.Worrall, C Wright, Riss (5 of them ex-Monarchs) were available. Looks, from where I'm standing, like a deliberate decision to go with R/R. And it may be the correct one as the match points were already written off, giving the team more rides and building up their stamina for Friday's double header :).

Alternatively, with my day having already got off to a good start with the England football team failing to win the women's world cup ;), the Monarchs could pull off the shock result of the season.

Either way I'll be watching on the Poole stream, which is generally very good.

To be fair, Schlein and R Worrall both at Berwick last night, they’re not going to fancy that long of a journey at last minute notice, Riss is riding in the Longtrack GP so you can rule him out. Charles Wright just back from injury last week so probably wouldn’t fancy taking the risk. Leaves Howarth, King, Kerr for me, then even maybe Sedge.

To be fair they probably want too much money as a guarantee.

Definitely not a decision to run R/R the club asked several riders who all turned it down for one reason or another.

riders moan about not enough meetings and bike time they get offered it and say no.

Not excluding Josh for that. The refs this year have been awful. Josh is in front, Newman has went for a blast and ran out of room. First bend all 4 back all day.

More you watch the replay that worse it gets. If anything it should’ve been Newman being excluded for going for a gap that wasn’t there.

Was a weird call. Though all four back was obvious.

Scored over 30 and more than what Glasgow did. Small victory, do we get a trophy for it? Only chance we’ve got.

Hey, you beat me to it! Sure we can lend you a trophy for a bit ;) Though if Glasgow score 32 or more on Weds, you'll have to give it back :D
