So that’s the real reason why you called off tonight’s meeting.  What a bunch of cheats.

They're not cheats, they told the BSPL they couldn't put out a team & the BSPL believed them & allowed then to cancel it.

While I'm dissapointed with Lynn's actions, it's hard to blame them if they are allowed to get away with it, I'd almost begrudgingly congratulate them on outsmarting the authorities! I'm probably more annoyed with the BSPL for letting them postpone the match, than for Lynn for cancelling it!

Ipswich must certainly be livid, especially of Lambert's return costs them a top 4 spot!

Lamberts return won't cost Ipswich anything. Now if he was replacing Jorgensen which he could have done, had Laguta returned too that would have been a different story.

Assuming it is true, it sums up what a state the sport is in, it vindicates Chris Harris comments in the Speedway Star and really makes a mockery of any suggestions that Chapman cannot afford the wages bill.

It could all be pure conjecture but in this game you have to suspect that the underhanded nature of one or two in this sport in their attempt to survive should not be under estimated and ought to require detailed investigation but that will not happen. One or two promoters might break ranks over some of the shenanigans but in reality those on the top table will see moves like those seemingly being carried out by KL as only benefiting the top league and believe the punters will approve. Those in charge are not in the real world and should pass on the baton or walk away now for the sake of those clubs who believe in the future of the sport. Time is no longer on the side of the chancers.

Would be interesting to know how long Lynn have known Laguta wasn't returning since there last match at Ipswich 7 days ago and then how long it's taken to get Lambert to say yes

A day or two would be my guess ;)

Kings Lynn Speedway and the BSPL are separate entities in the same way that Kings Lynn Speedway and Norfolk Arena Ltd are.

If I was Chris Louis I'd be relieved I didn't have to pay for 62 points!

They could still do that, because Lynn are still weaker than when we met them a few weeks ago when they won 40-50.I don't see what they are so worried about.
