Best wishes to Dan Thompson after dislocating a shoulder in his heat 2 fall. Was nice to see Jason Doyle coming to check on his injured team mate. Doyle also trying to team ride Hume in another race was encouraging too.

This was quite funny as he was looking over his shoulder and checking for Danyon then he fell and vanished so next time he looked round he saw a Kings Lynn rider and suddenly went oops i better get a move on,

Doyley is certainly popular it took him ages to do his ben fund collection and everyone wanted piccies and selfies etc with him - and he found time for all of them!

I'm a big Artem fan did like his brother better, though. he has let me down , i do hope he apologises when i next see him, i think i know what he is going to say he has more important meetings in Poland. then ill say well dont take the p*8s out of the British public. then ill give him a firm hand shake and take him out for a pint.:t:

Certainly been disappointing there’s no doubt about that - as Kelvin would say

If ever there was a meeting of two halves he had that kind of meeting - he was on the pace in heat 1 but simply couldnt match Emil. in his 2nd ride he gated last and had worked his way past Mountain and Riss - it was the final lap and he was trying to reel in Danny when he vanished into the fence on the 2nd bend final lap -.

Then in his next ride he pulled up at the back and then was pulled from heat 13!

Odd in my view.

Has Simon lambert got the record of most gift points in one meeting ? He did however fully deserved his race win in heat 14 and he put it loads of effort in all night.

I would say he has to be worth a reserve spot in the PL next year from someone - 'ceteris paribus' and all that!

I know there’s been a lot going on behind the scenes etc but wow what a disappointment Artem Laguta has been, do you think it would of gone like this if he ended up at a club that was more settled? Emil on the other hand a class act, on and off track. Would love to see him back next year.

Be surprised if he is back

Sam Hagon Actually scored 3=2 without beating a rider from either side. Surely that has to be a first?

£3195.06 was raised last night for the Ben fund and that includes the £200 Emil won for breaking the track record.  Top bloke.

Emil is probably the best all round rider in terms of track craft & how approachable he is since Tony. Hopefully there is a way he can return next year

And they don't get smashed by turning off the throttle

Artem was a massive disappointment last night & not to appear in heat 13 a disgrace. Are you sure it’s not KK in disguise?

He doesn’t appear to have the track craft & throttle control.

Exactly, British speedway requires skillful riders, not just throttle jockeys. However it was his first time at foxhall I think but nevertheless, when riders got close to him in his last ride he wimped out of battling with them.

It would be great to see how Zmarzlik would get on, more Laguta than Emil I think. He’d show himself up.

Anyway back to last night we’ll done the Ipswich 5, & good to see Riss looking competitive.

On a positive note I think Klindt deserves a lot of credit for his performances this season in an awful team, after a slow start and since taking on the captaincy he's been excellent and is rider of the year by a mile and not just because he's the last man standing from the start of the season :D

As for Artem, he's been a massive disappointment and doesn't seem to have the right attitude for racing over here. I'm sure there are various other factors but if you don't give 100% you aren't going to succeed.

Perhaps Buster’s need to reduce rider costs has impacted on Artem’s performance?

Topping last year's £2772 which was already the highest in either league.

It was a good crowd last night (highest of all my visits this season) and due to the long gap in racing there was plenty of time for the riders to do the collection - but it is a fantastic amount for sure - I even got a 'Thanks Mate' from Doyley as I put my fiver in!

Wishing Dan a speedy recovery as he was a miss last night.

As for Klindt He does ride Foxhall well - his move on Danny King wasn't great and before that I had been thinking maybe he would be a good rider to sign for the Witches. He was the only rider to lower Emils colours but that was manily as he completely missed the start in heat 13
