He and Garry May said it was riders from both teams - not just the 2 that did the practice laps - that weren't prepared to ride!

Mark Phillips didn't blame anybody or anything - except the weather. He did have a sideways pop at Greg (who he called Grant!) Blair's comments!

Never said what riders didn’t fancy it.I know it was riders from both Teams.Barker seemed to be the only 1 that fancied it.

Think it was a bit disrespectful of Greg to make that comment.Given that he probably has no knowledge of track prep at Plymouth.

It’s done now, but where I live in Plymouth it didn’t rain after 12 but then I am about 5 miles from the track

Think the BSN guys were there at lunch time and never mentioned anything about rain.

I think you should all read Matt Bates report. With 2 ref's declaring the track fit, the main instigator being a Berick rider influencing the rest causing the meeting to be postponed Berwick were withholding their service's, in that case they should be fined and should also forfeit the points with Plymouth getting them. If the rider concerned has lost his bottle mayba he should have stayed retired.  It is extremely unfair to blame Plymouth when it was all brought about by Berwick

It comes down to track prep, plain and simple. Whether it rains or not, the track needs to be prepped to suit the conditions.

The track was prepped days before  unfortunately it was too wet to work on til late Tues afternoon.

Seems daft to blame the Berwick riders when they’ve travelled so far for nothing (Connor Coles excepted).
Why should anyone put themselves in danger on a track where racing would be difficult and you’re just going through the motions? Who wants to watch that?

You watched a load of guff last night on a well prepared dust bowl. Easier to add water to a track than take it away.
