Apparently Devon had more than double average July rainfall in July and lots since.

Your worst nightmare to see Schlein turn up.

He's happy to ride and win a British Final so wet you could aquaplane but regularly throws his dummy out in Leagues.

Ban him for 4 weeks if he refuses to ride.

From what Greg is saying they didn’t pack the track till later in the day, so it’s not really had time to set. This should’ve be done way earlier in the day.

The ref also needs to be stronger in that situation and get a hold of the situation.

the ref is in a very difficult situation to be fair.  at least the spectators can see the riders have given it a whirl before it’s been called otherwise it looks worse

And Lewy quick to have a go at Oxford for it!

I'm loathe to criticise any promotion as know there's so much time effort and money goes in to running a speedway club. But that's 2 entirely avoidable instances in a under a week that just bring embarrassment to the sport and turn off what few fans we have left.

Tidal River there right behind where they keep tractors on 3rd bend.

So water not only coming from sky but very high water table under the track

High tides killing the venue it seems.

Nothing to do with high tides,Rory schlien take a bow.

Should have been off at High Tide then.Pathetic All round.IMO

whats the point off walking round the track kicking some dirt about when you have no intentions of getting on your bike.

More than Rory clearly!

Why was Ritchie Worrall shaking his head after his laps???

Leon certainly wasn't happy! It's clear Jye wasn't either!!

If that track wasn't safe to ride then why should they go out!

People pay their money to see riders going full throttle for 15 heats.. that wasn't going to be the case if it had went ahead!!

Like Greg said, just a half arsed effort from the Plymouth promotion... Why were they not there from midday doing everything they could?

Nothing to do with high tides? Everything to do with no track prep til 6pm, according to BSN who were there from 12 noon ish!

Anyway moving on. BSN viewers will enjoy a top notch meeting tomorrow. A spit more of rain due overnight but the track will be fine for Pirates v Cheetahs!

Might even get a Super heat?!
