SteveLyric2 Posted July 31, 2023 Report Share Posted July 31, 2023 So, weather permitting, the Pirates return to Wimborne Road for this Championship clash against the Edinburgh Monarchs, with Craig Cook no doubt playing the 'pantomime villain' role(or should that be roll?) A couple of changes for both teams. For Pirates just an August positional change with Kyle Newman moving to 2 and Anders Rowe to 6. For the Monarchs, r/r continues for Castagna; and Edwards guesting for Lasse Fredrickssen (before Max Clegg replaces him for the return fixture on Friday). Thoughts? Yes Steve that pot of Pirate gold needs emptying soon But the weather ain't looking great & I cud find myself in a similar situation to last week regarding my travel unless early call off later today with it being Edinburgh.
