A world where Freddie Lindgren is potentially world champion, give me strength. From what I read Freddie was one of the riders who protested the disqualification. Wear the wrong Kevlars, equals a €600 Fine and disqualification from the GP. There is no other option. Draconian but no option for a slapped wrist. It would probably be better if it said "up to disqualification", like the other rules do. But the rule is there and this is the first time this has ever happened so they must know about it.
CB252
Hopefully some PZM repercussions from this. 99% of speedway meetings that are worth attending/watching take place in Polish stadiums. See how the series gets on with no Poles or Polish tracks.
Steve Shovlar
Sponsors have paid a small fortune to have their name plastered on the riders kevlars, especially the Infinate Reality splashed front and center. For the WC to not have this but his own sponsor is a major breach of the rules. More I think about it, I can understand why he has been punished. Won’t make a mistake like that again. JanAndersen
Absolutely no way would they have made the same decision in Torun. Not a chance.

Remember Phil Morris threatening him with a 500E fine for not behaving correctly at the Semi gate choices just a few weeks ago.

Any frustration aimed at the GP organisers naive. Speedway requires as many sponsors as it can get and those sponsors - Monster, for example - will have their world class Contracts department implement specific advertising requirements into the GP T&Cs, to the finest detail. For the world champion to not bother his arse, the GP organisers have to apply the rules and implement their sponsor’s terms. A wild oversight from Zmarzlik, or a tactical move to ensure a world title win on home soil.

Grand Central
Just heard Erik Gundersen being interviewed at the track and getting the bums-rush from the presenter as soon as he mentioned Bartosz. The disqualification is one thing but the Newspeak of the team avoiding the Elephant in the room is disgusting. Not what you would get on BSN!

Any external investment in speedway is welcome and appreciated, so riders cannot pick and choose what they wear when it comes to advertising. Exactly. It's the TV and the sponsors who dictate the rules these days. It's not just speedway. As you say, every rider would have been aware of the rules. Grand Central
Look at the guy furiously doing the brushing under the eye of Morris. It looks like castration is the penalty for poor broom-ettiquette.
