JoeW436
If they are banning riders for a reason like that from meetings what chance have the two Russians got of getting back in. What a joke.
Steve Shovlar
Rather than throw him out of the GP., a points penalty of say, 25 points, would have been more fitting to the crime. Removing Zmarzlik punishes the fans, especially Polish fans who have made the trip. Ridiculous punishment.

DazS
some people on here think its ok because its a rule, these people make the best order followers, common sense gone.
bruno
A fine and maybe a points deduction would have been more sensible but let's be honest it's speedway
r8gdp
Just when you think speedway can t sink any lower this happens what a joke but a least it’s got nothing to do with the lads that run British speedway lol
geoff100
The other riders should have stuck together and refused to ride, how low can this sport go !
Steve Shovlar
Clearly this penalty is in the rules so he’s out. Big crowd there tonight. Better than recent years. Hope the racing is better than normal.
Pinny
Quite possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in 25 years of following the sport.

Agreed, that crossed my mind as well. A world where Freddie Lindgren is potentially world champion, give me strength.

hagonshocker
Pathetic!!!!! Shame on the organisers
Steve Shovlar
Bigger than recent crowds which bucks the trend but I have been to Voyens with 25,000 and it is a sea of heads. (Trick, Nielsen, Boyce runoff)

They never will. The wildcards are there for this very reason. Your future will one day depend on never having stepped out of line with the organisers
Colinspeedway
This penalty penalises the crowd. Needs a rethink.

TheWellBehavedWorrall
I appreciate the frustration at Zmarzlik’s disqualification from the meeting, but these rules are set in FIM contracts which the riders adhere to; Zmarzlik has no-one to blame, but himself. I’m assuming it’s sponsor-related. Any external investment in speedway is welcome and appreciated, so riders cannot pick and choose what they wear when it comes to advertising.
Steve Shovlar
The problem is the rules have boxed in the organisers. There is no flexibility. Wear the wrong Kevlars, equals a €600 Fine and disqualification from the GP. There is no other option. Draconian but no option for a slapped wrist.
geoff100
Morris was going to fine him 500 euros the other week for not standing in line, can u see olsen standing for the ban back in the day!
