Danish Grand Prix - Vojens - 16th Sep

Recommended Posts

Home straight seating - plus under cover, minus not the greatest view (seating not well raked and a couple of Poles in the way

Back straight stand (temporary) - great view, not covered (and it often rains in Vojens)

Standing - decent views assuming not to crowded or wet

If you sit in the home straight seating you cannot see the back straight for the centre green carbuncle - sorry presentation platform

Surely they need to do something about that this year, even in standing we found you couldn't see other side of the track unless stood near the top of the banking.

Anyone familiar with the parking set up for the meeting? The parking tickets appear to not be available yet or are already sold out. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi Jan.  Are you still going to Vojens - guess you are over from NZ?   We are going too and would be good to say hello.

Sandy & Mick

There is loads of parking around the industrial estate and fields, some of it free, some of it paid for.

Calling @racers and royals

All leave is cancelled! I want you early to bed this week and on a diet of oily fish and dark chocolate, laptop fully charged, phone on mute!

Bartosz Zmarzlik can wrap up the World Championship this weekend and because of the comical scoring we're unlikely to find out from the commentators and not until a press release on the website long after it's been wrapped up.

As Rachel Riley is otherwise engaged it's down to you R&R, this is your time... the BSF needs YOU!

Not sure i would describe the points scoring as comical myself.

Realistically it’s Lindgren that can catch him and he is 24 points behind with a max of 40 left-

The 1st indication will be top 8 in Vojens and then getting to the final.

will it go to Torun ?? we can only wait and see but i will have my JK racecard and coloured pens ready so will do my best lol

you're right there's nothing funny about not knowing who's come where in a competition until the captions come up after the event after it's all been worked out on a spread sheet... but that's another story!

Good luck... we're all counting on you :)

I honestly think it's the worst scoring system in the history of the GPs.

After semi final 1, the riders in 3rd & 4th don't know how many points they've scored, till semi 2 is completed.

So it's possible riders who are sitting 14th & 15th in the standings could decide who wins the world title based on them finishing 3rd or 4th in the second semi final!
