Poole Pirates Vs Birmingham Brummies 26th July

Recommended Posts

The Pirates welcome the Brummies to Wimborne Road on Wednesday looking to carry on from last weeks win at Perry Barr.

Not sure who is guesting now for Nick Morris due to Rory Schlein being out injured.

Would expect a comfortable home win but Berwick put up a fight last week especially early on in the meeting.

Thoughts?

Easy away win if they can gate.!!

Well Brum have good choice of guest as no other Champ meeting.

Edit - surely King best option? Basso, Harris, Dougy, Scott, Masters and Pickering all too high. Craig Cook just in but Poole too far for him I think.

Wonder if Dickson will go with a dodgy 1 to 7 like he did last year with Leicester in the Playoff final at Poole when he put Dan Thompson at number 5 to ride with the reserves and went for a strong partnership elsewhere in the team with Worrall and Nicholls at 3 and 4. Will he move Sedgmen from the Number 5 slot?

Judging by his comments on BSN commentary on Friday, Dickson would simply do anything and everything to get one over on Poole!  He was still bemoaning Poole winning the play-offs last year at Kings Lynn, despite it was Leicester's inability to get their own track right for the 2nd leg!!;)

Comfy home win for we Pirates but hope to see entertaining racing as is the norm at WINborne road.

I'm going for a 57-33 @Steve Shovlar  so keep a note.

I'm still on a high after celebrating up in Glasgow on Friday.

A welcome home for the POOLE PIRATES BSN SERIES CHAMPIONS 2023

We're more than likely looking at another tonking.....

Regarding guest choices - no idea but wouldn't be on the phone to Danny King after last weeks showing.

Got 15 at Poole for Redcar though. Only riders who have done better have averages that are too high (obviously!)

Is it a holiday or is it because he's in the World Cup Squad this week?

Wolves saying in press release it is a holiday. I thought it was to do with WC week before I read it.

'There’s no facility available for Ryan Douglas or Steve Worrall though who are simply on holiday.'
