Un arranged Fixtures

Recommended Posts

Looking at he Speedway GB site it shows that Peterborough have to arrange to race Sheffield twice at home (possible 6 points for Sheffield inc bonus points) , whilst Wolves need to fit in Leicester at home and Leicester need to fit in Kings Lynn at home all before the end of August deadline that’s in place.  These fixtures could impact the final whereabouts of the top 4 teams.

I wonder if the promotions will look at where their teams are and who they will face in the plays offs before having to do a (financial loss for the home team) double header before the end of next month as I can’t see when some of the fixtures can be slotted in

The now typical malaise continues

A pathetic and unacceptable situation

Perhaps Peterborough should be made to forfeit the cup tie and look to complete another league fixture

Five and a half months to get 12 league matches and any cup ties in, really shouldn't be difficult. I expect the Championship will have a similar problem even though they halved the number of matches at the eleventh hour.

Such an amateur set up in this country.

So past the 31st August deadline, makes the top 4 at end of August a mockery out not all fixtures completed

Perhaps the play offs should only include teams that have completed all their fixtures by the cut off date ;):P

Nothing much really changes does it?

No urgency at all.

Well done though to those clubs who look to be in a position to comfortably complete their home fixtures in good time.

There never seems to be an urgency, not just in the Prem, I often hear of teams not racing because they are missing riders. But do they not realise come the end of the season they'll be struggling to fit in fixtures?

As they are owned by Scrooge , Peterborough have been forfeiting there meetings for most of the season anyway.

That's great, but it shouldn't be for all.

100%
One promoter says do it this way, it’ll make things better. Cartel do their thing (make things worse) and said promoter says cheerio.

And repeat………

Also, there is only one Monday/Thursday date between now and the end of August, when both teams don't have a match, but that is the date the British final is taking place.
