paul84
Edinburgh 1. Max Clegg 2. Mark Parker 3. Ashton Boughen (G) 4. Alex Spooner R/RR/R - 5. Adam Roynon 6. Mickie Simpson 7. Dayle Wood Workington 1. Lee Complin (G) 2. Sam McGurk 3. Luke Harrison 4. Luke Crang R/RR - 5. Ace Pijper 6. Harry McGurk 7. Elliot Kelly Here we go again let’s hope the weather is kind and we can get on the road to support the lads. We need a lot more track time as a team especially on the road so today is a good a test as any. Missing our top man but Lee Complin is a rider you can rely on. Hoping for a safe one and a Comets win!

Hoping for a safe one and a Comets win! Can't see a comets win today. Although Edinburgh don't have a great record, we've been severely lacking. Crangy being out is a struggle when we are replacing him with Harry, who hasn't performed all season and Elliot who, after his month out, hasn't got back to the level he was at. Itll be a tough match up and be nothing like the home leg. On a positive note, excited to see Ace again because he's going to be a phenomenonal rider. He made last week exciting when other top riders weren't performing their best. Edited July 15, 2023 by WokJoWe

Obviously I’d rather have our own rider in the team but guess we will see? I’ve watched Speedway since 1999 and I’d never try and pretend I know the rules it’s impossible! According to a post on Edinburgh’s Facebook so far so good with the weather fingers are crossed

Not sure the rulebook gives an answer, but precedent certainly does, as it has happened before, so I would imagine Bailey will ride
scaramanga
as long as call off is soon enough i think its the right thing to do going with the clubs own rider little unfair on the booked guest but if possible the team should stick to its declared 1 to
szkocjasid
Not sure of the rules, but both teams should 100% use their own riders now they are free! While it's a shame for the riders offering to guest, we have far too many guests already & any rule saying a declared team can't be changed would be rediculous! I'm pretty sure that rule isn't there anyway, as a rider getting injured one day can nessitate a team change the following day.
Marksman
Appears to be unchanged as of 12pm

Lee Complin rides Armadale better than Connor Bailey? Keeps Connor Bailey fresh for ithe British u21 meeting tomorrow. Just my thoughts. Woke23
31-17 to Edinburgh. We are struggling with our starts and the bends. Riding with Harry and Elliot is like riding with two down. I remember watching Dayle Wood at start of season. That kids improved massively whereas we have Harry and Elliot who have regressed.
Marksman
Watching on the stream, forgot how great a spectacle watching racing at Armadale was Our lads have struggled with the track tonight, hopefully at least get a race winner. szkocjasid
Can't believe Connor Bailey isn't riding, plenty of time after Redcar was postponed! Half joking - but should this count as "witholding his services"?
