Steady rain since around 4pm, more to come tomorrow. I anticipate an early call off

Real shame the weather looks against us for this one, looks like a cracker of a double header on paper. Bandits are looking a much improved side the last couple of meetings pushing both Oxford and Poole as hard as anyone else in the league has so far, not to mention some exciting opposition especially Ben Barker.

The Bullets with Steve Boxall, wow now that is something to get excited about. The National League meetings at Berwick never disappoint.

Excellent idea by the promotion to give you a free programme with your e ticket, that coupled with the free car park and the discount really means it’s a fantastic night out at the speedway.

Come on weather, do us a favour and keep the rain away.

I think I love you, all I need now is your alter ego to come along and my life is complete.

Not entirely surprised by the early call off, there was a good bit of rain last night and the forecast is none to clever for later today. You have to feel for any Plymouth fans who made the trip up, they saw their match at Edinburgh get an early call off yesterday and another today.

Just had a message off some Plymouth fans asking if GP will be shown in Black & Gold tonight so least they will see some speedway

I came up for the Rockets three meeting northern tour about 10 years ago.
We saw 2 heats at Edinburgh on Friday evening before it was rained off. The Saturday meeting at Berwick was rained off at lunchtime.
On Sunday we were travelling up the A1 towards Glasgow when we were told it was off, so we turned round and headed to Newcastle to see the Bandits race there. That was called off before we’d even crossed south of the border!

Meeting re-arranged for Saturday September 9th.

I would reckon Edinburgh V Plymouth will be the night before, does this mean the fixture deadline has been pushed back a week to include the fixtures outstanding.

Also, Glasgow V Oxford needs to be fitted in as well.

Tidying up the fixtures,I reckon unless we can get some good guests forTJ.

going to struggle for a guest now as his average has dropped to 6.41 so will be 6.73 for a home meeting guest
