Jaizer
Have Plymouth just been unlucky this season or is there a reason so many rain offs?

Yeah, it's called the weather. Mark Phillips most certainly tried really hard to get last Tuesday on, was battling the elements right up to about 6.45, when one final burst of rain during referee and skippers track inspection ended the hopes. Very unlucky.

Very unlucky. Hence my question, don't need to be a "forum fanny" about it. Not being from the area I've no idea the Devonian climate!!! 3

Bellers101
Plymouth have more rain offs than the tennis at Wimbledon!
SteveLyric2
If it wasn't for bad luck, Plymouth would have no luck at all!!
Steve Shovlar
A very early call off, especially with not much rain forecast today and looking at the rain radar nothing on the horizon. Damage must have been already done?

Not in the top 10: The top ten wettest counties in England are (in descending order): Cumbria, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Northumberland, Durham, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, East Sussex, and Kent. HGould
Plymouth will remember Brennan cry baby strop to get last seasons fixture called off due to a damp patch. Heavy rain in South West at weekend and yesterday, I was in Tintagel for the weekend and raining all way back up to Bristol yesterday afternoon. Bomber is a big draw still down there so they probably want best possible weather to attract the Cornish hordes. Wise early decision will be appreciated by Glasgow too probably. Bellers101
Apparently everything was ok this morning until one of the track staff knocked over his Sports Direct mug completely flooding the track. Did they consider burning some hay on the track to dry it out?

szkocjasid
Would make sense to re-run the match next Tuesday as Glasgow are at Oxford on the Wednesday & would give fans the option of staying down south for both meetings.
