Well we better be careful what with Captain Hook in town to steal our treasure!

Been a while since TJ been at Poole as he always used to be 'ill' when Lynn were down. So be interesting to see if he turns up and if so what he scores! They also pushed Oxford hard until last 3 heats so not to be written off!

THJ is a racer so the Poole track won’t play to his strengths at all

Lots of comments across these posts about the Poole track but if all the fans know what it is like surely these riders who ride tracks for a living should adjust their bikes to fly away at the start like Poole are said to do.Not sure our track is as bad as certain people make out otherwise Poole wouldn't get such big crowds as no one wants to watch processions every week.Darcy,Chris and Magic were racers was the track that different when they were riding Wimborne Road every week or back further when Super Simmo,Ron Preston were flying round the track.

I'm pretty sure the track was a lot worse - certainly more holes then - when Magic and the Turbo Twins were kings of Wimborne Road, they just knew where they were and rode through or around them, as did many regular visiting riders.

Poole doing a good job on promoting what will be a fairly routine thumping home win.

How many 5-1's can we get this week will be the most interesting discussion point.

Experienced this once in my speedway spectating "career" with the invincible  Hackney Kestrels. For one season only home meetings were very much a bore unless Galvin missed the start.

I think the most interesting discussion point is likely to be how many times TJ, Flint and former Pirate Schlein can beat current Poole heat leaders Lawson, Worrall and Cook?

They can’t do much worse than Glasgow. I hope the Bandits manage to put up a good fight. But they do look weak. Flint as heat leader shows their strength.

Can't see anything other than a summer breeze past the Bandits for us Pirates. Everyone is in top form at the moment in the Pirates camp & I don't even see Schlein or Flint posing any problems this time around.

Looking due north of 57pts as the Pirates maintain their dominance @ fortress WINborne Road.

C'mon the boyzzzzz :t:

On paper Poole should sail past 60. But fee TJ and Flint will fight hard and Rory knows the fastest was around the track.

Forecast is still decent with an afternoon shower or two.

I'm liking your PMA  :D  a very astute summarisation.

For me it's 61-29, yes I'm allowing Bandits one more point than Glasgow as the track will be perfect, apparently there was something wrong with it last week!! :o

With this being a league match, Berwick will do OK, high 30s or even low 40s. Poole riders will be keeping an eye on their averages.

With the number 1 spot being crucial in the playoffs, all riders will need to perform 100% or face the playoff league of death come September.
