Not conversant with H&S rules, what changes have taken place since BV hosted the 2016 world team that would not allow the temporary stand?

A lot of it now is how fast you can evacuate an area if !! Something happened,  often on temporary stands you have long lines of seats and few exit plaxes  where in stadiums, these lines of seats are shorter and more exit points, plus the amount of stewards required per so many of a crowd is a big ask these days

When you put it like that it's hard to resist, I've done Auschwitz, the salt mines and Krakow... well worth spending time at... just a shame about those first 3 events when we know what the Wroclaw track can serve up

But apart from probably the best world cup final in history, the emotive attractions, the lovely weather, the beautiful sights and architecture and the cheap prices what have the Poles ever done for us? :D

Honestly... I don't think the racing was that bad at any point during the week... Yeah it got better as each meeting passed, but there was still some good racing in the first semi...

Not sure if it has been mentioned or even if this is the right place, apologies if not, but feel its prudent to share.

Wales Online has just release a story of a fan that's been missing since the GP with links to report any information to the Police etc

Live: Wales breaking news plus weather and traffic updates (Tuesday, September 5) - Wales Online

I have read that his is now home and safe? Not sure how true that source is, but hope it's correct...

It's always better watching Speedway live than on TV, you can take so much more in during a race... rather than watching from a drone for example

Unless you're onboard the drone, of course.

I for one wouldn't go if it were anywhere other than really local to me if held elsewhere as I wouldn't buy a ticket until the weather forecast was in place.  No such drama with Cardiff, it's guaranteed to be on.  Have stayed in a B&B in mid-wales for £30 & travel to the venue is not that hard then.  This year though I got a coach, 5 hour journey, left home at 6.45am, home again at 2am the next day - £40.

I have collated them myself, every year a figure is quoted but I cannot verify it is an offical figure there is certain amount of rounding going on.

2016, 40,974 seems a good guess. sure it wasn't 41,000
