Say 150 Poole fans signed up for the stream, plus another 100 fans from other clubs. 250 paying 11.99 = £2997.50. Expand My thoughts were that the transponders are on the handlebars, the tyre is what 6 inches in front of the handlebar? Clearly they are raking it in at Glasgow Speedway not to worry bout a trifling few thousand quid extra a week that a stream could generate. Expand Without knowing how much streaming costs & how many people sign up each week, you can't guarantee they'll make a profit. You would assume it's worth the effort as otherwise other clubs wouldn't stream. It could make a difference to the attendance though, perhaps not by much, but people travelling far or especially in bad weather some may stay at home & stream instead of attending (costly if it's families). While I'd assume it's worth streaming, at the end of the day it's their business, they don't HAVE to stream just because everyone else does. Does it affect their home attendance on a dodgy weather day ? Same time as Edinburgh but I think our meeting Vs Kent was before Edinburgh had a meeting (could be wrong and no doubt be put in my place if I am lol). Full season was streamed through a 3rd party QTV. While yes absolutely more expensive they know exactly what the audience is and what effect have on attendances and have decided not to have it.
