3. Ben Barker (G)

Looks like no effort has been made to replace MPT. Bargain basement guest, absolute no hope of this being close. 35-55.

Buster said straight away that the team was over budget so any guest will be bargain basement, that's a given.

Sheffield to score somewhere between 50 and 60 I expect.

I just don't see it.

Jakobsen must have been on a decent whack considering he's an "Ekstraliga rider"

Pickering also would have been on a fair amount.

Not paying anything for MPT while he's out.

Surely could have scraped enough for Charles Wright, Tom Brennan or Blodorn who would do better than Barker...?

Another poor line up against a very strong Sheffield side so sadly I’d expect another poor crowd - think it’s all about competing fixtures and get to the end of August that be it till March 2024 hopefully

Both racing the following day up in Glasgow for the teams they captain. I imagine they both want to be prepared for that rather than getting home at 3 am cleaning bikes at 8 am before setting off on the trip to Glasgow. I'm sure both Glasgow and Redcar fans will be pleased they aren't doing the booking and risk being ill prepared let alone hurt. So I can understand why Barker is available when the others are not.

You're assuming of course that they are available ..... if your not paying MPT who is being paid for taking his rides? Have you any idea how long it takes to get a "work permit" for a European rider? ... thought not!

Im sure the pennies from Busters big whiskey jar will be better spent on Nick Morris to be the guest on 10th July as its only him , Sedgmen or Allen from a premiership team to choose from thats under MPTs average .

Morris unlikely to be back from Poland

Won't be wasting my money on this one.I can only see a mauling from the tigers what with lewi, turncoat pickering, Holder and Museilac only being bothered by Artem and possibly Klindt. I hope I'm proven wrong but I can't see it somehow. I'll save my £25 for monday

0-0-0-3 or whatever race Klindt goes in, for MPT rides as only he is able to take a ride now. Still, that's 3 more than Barker will get. There's plenty of riders in the Championship available...we took a chance on Kye, why not do it again with another one? I'd rather see an actual declared 1-7 than use guests week in week out

Will Sheffield finally hit the 60 point marker at the Adrian Flux Arena after going close in the earlier 2023 visits

Artem/ Klindt 21 between them, TJ/ Barker/ Kye 10,  reserves 6 maybe? I can't see us getting anymore than 37

Probably tried but Mark Lemon didn't want any of them riding for such a close play off rival..

:D

Will Laguta be available -_-

The No1's over the last couple of decades havent usually missed the home matches...

Strangely, no clashes with any overseas or FIM commitments..

On the other hand...

Away matches have quite often been a bit of different story.....;)

We seemed in good form for half a meeting yesterday.. Holder gone 2 meetings unbeaten at KL I do believe so far can he make it 3/3 against Laguta and in form Klindt? I don’t think he will.

Pickering and Kerr to wheelie together in heat 15 just to rub salt in the wounds

52-38 away win
