Riss and Rew struggling If King don't return 8-10 points a match Ipi normally struggle to getta win as the other riders don't generally chip in with enough points, so good job he did score well last night, 37 from the top 3 but only 10 from the other 4. Come on the Skipper
I enjoyed my first visit to Foxhall for around 40 years! I'm currently on holiday on the Broads and decided to visit Ipswich rather than Kings Lynn as the match looked more attractive for a neutral. I had no trouble getting there, nor parking. Getting in was a little slow but no complaints there. The stadium itself is pretty impressive, with the big grandstands on the back straight, and having bought some food me and my son found a seat in the grandstand. The view was really good, although my own preference is to be a bit closer to the action. The racing wasn't bad at all, although as mentioned on the updates Wolves did seem to get some flyers. As expected, when the Witches have Jason and Emil as their top two heats 13 and 15 will always favour them. A couple of things I noticed, the music wasn't very modern, although I didn't mind that, and there also seemed to be a lot of children around where we were sitting. Hopefully the latter is a good sign for Ipswich. The meeting was done and dusted in just over 90 minutes, from tapes up to the end of heat 15, including the interval so well done to all for that. I had no trouble getting out afterwards and but for the A140 being closed would have been back in Wroxham by 10.45. Taking everything into consideration, that was an enjoyable evening. 8
Baldyman
Wasn't there so can't comment on much,, but good to see Danny's score,, definitely riding himself into a team spot for next year. Looking at some of the other scores,,, they really should be doing better,,,,

Baldyman
Doyle is one of the worlds worst jumpers,,, although he does seem to do it less here,,, but I guess that's cos the competiton isn't so good

Baldyman
This year I don't think transponders are mandatory,,and even if they were,, they don't register till the headstock is over the start/finish line,,,, Edited July 7, 2023 by Baldyman

I know they have to be fitted to the bikes prior to the season & then would be able to be used, after testing, around mid June. I remember seeing a report that a rider beating another rider by 0.001 of a second but can not remember the placings.
Baldyman
Strangely on a close finish on TV they will replay the front wheel going over the line first,,, but the transponders are not in the front wheel,,,

Yeah im sure Roynon said last night on BSN that they were compulsory this season and had to be fitted.

Riss and Rew struggling Exactly. Every Foxhall match this season where King has been paid for double figures, Ipswich have won. Every match (bar one) where he’s been below that mark, they’ve lost. He is absolutely the pivot of the side.

Planned but not fully utilised I believe Although given Leicester for example can't even run a 2 min clock on the centre green it may be some time yet for a full suite of modern technology
