PLYMOUTH 'Gladiators' vs BERWICK 'Bandits' : Championship : 4th July 2023

Recommended Posts

Seen an appeal from Mark Phillips.. "bring a friend bring an enemy, bring someone" seems he needs a few hundred more every week or 2023 could be last season in CL.

A shame as a great little set up there.

I wonder if he'll jump to NORA with maybe Kent too.

Can use CL and NDL riders far less costs and focus on a summer season.

Sure someone said there is a rumour about Plymouth doing that next season.

Plymouth and Kent wanted to run NORA with CL and NDL respectively and basically told they couldn't in collaboration with IOW.

Some Clubs run NORA on amateur basis with SCB blessing it seems but others can't..

All very messy.

Wouldn't be a massive surprise if NORA gained 2 Clubs and BSPL lost 2 more as a result.

Crazy though when likes of Morley, Bowtell and Edwards all of whom have ridden CL for Plymouth  and Trigger can ride NORA on IOW but not at Kent or Plymouth

That may be the only way the BSPL / SCB review their attitude to the Nora league, as long as the clubs let them get away with "bullying" them, they'll continue to do it!

Absolutely hammering down with rain in Plymouth now  I hope an early call is made on this one for the fans and the promoter so he doesn’t lose a fortune as people won’t come out if there’s a chance it will be off.

Every effort is being made to get the meeting on,track is covered.

I understand that a fair play for trying but the weather isn’t easing up and you have to lift them covers up at some point and no one would want to pay for half a meeting I hope I’m wrong I really do but I’ll be leaving it till the last minute to make a call weather I go or not.
