ragdoll64
Honestly, thought it would be really tough going tonight but didn’t see this coming. Shocking display by us….shocking track as far as racing lines are concerned and shocking entertainment value all round. My immediate reaction was to refrain from attending the “no chance” second leg…..BUT…..I will attend…..because I’ll be assured of some fantastic racing and a fabulously entertaining evening. Borefests with silverware?……or “real racing” at Ashfield?……..I know what my preference is………

It takes 2 teams to make a good meeting and Glasgow were just outclassed. It was like watching Halifax away meetings in the 70s and early 80s. Cannot blame the home side or the track, start with Team manager who is crap, and riders who looked beat before 1st corner. If they could make the gate, I'd either be a closer match, or there would have been more passing.

There were no further incidents after that - other than the home team recording zero last places. I can't recall the last time that happened other than when the opposition was so outclassed! People usually say that no trophies are won til the end of the season, but Poole seem to want to buck that trend. I'll give them the trophy for worst track in the Championship. Only seen two meetings as bought the BSN Championship season pass but the worst two meetings I've seen this season.

ruckerroo
Glasgow have a mental block about meetings at Poole, you cannot be that bad with that side if you are riding on your merits.
SJA
Another final, & by the looks of it another loss over two legs. It's the story of the last five or so seasons. Teams built to different strengths, top stars, strength in depth etc. They have tried everything. Only two constants. They don't win anything. Oh & the Manager. Maybe the Directors may start to think it's not the riders fault, but the Manager who consistently gets his charges to underperformed when it matters. Rather than FTP, it should be FTM.

Tell me do riders still have to stuff things up their race suits at Lynn cos they scared of hitting the rock hard track?
