Oh dear poor Tigger's, :D  but did not see a defeat that bad coming, you can maybe try to do what the comets did to Edinburgh in 2018 -_-  But then maybe not !! Probably be lucky to get 40 points at home on this performance

Yes, they are only just better than Plymouth here. Glasgow moan more than the Aussie cricket team and that takes some doing!

The track was under water this morning, so did well to get it on imo. Poole has always been a slick track like Lakeside and Rye House. Glasgow know it is going to be from the gate apart from some races, so need to prepare better!

Ace was good though.

I’m sorry but the track is just p*ss poor why would anyone want to watch gate and go speedway with little or no dirt on it.

You get more passes on mastermind and they are intelligent.

Are your fingers glued to the numbers 2 0 1 &  8 on your keyboard.

Boring & predictable but boring all the same.

To be fair Lisa how would he know someone got stabbed.

Maybe they shouldn't make a joke until they know why an ambulance was needed? Poole bus station is certainly a very dodgy area these days.

I used to get off the bus there in previous years, but no chance now.

What is the deal with Workington in 2018? Were they bottom half the season and still won the league like Poole?

Some races? Must have missed some passes or maybe it was BSN who missed them.

Zach Cook down the back straight in heat 14 lap 1 was the only genuine pass on the night. Every other pass was because of hole/ridge on 1st bend

Prob can't do usual prep if track is under water in the morning? Did they mention the rut during the track walk that BSN do?

It’s not a hole apparently it’s a ridge.

The ridge has a hole on it though.

Rowe passed Ace on bend 4 during H8.

You can't take the other pass away from us, thanks!

You probably stay far enough away not too attend Poole.

Absolutely.

And I've now cancelled the thought of going to Dorset for a holiday - what with the dire dross speedway and the dangerous bus station.

I'm sure the racing at Poole was better when they had all the wavy bits and the proper craters.

Thanks to Rob Godfrey blocking them using Friday nights and rain offs they had ridden two home meetings from March to June both against Glasgow. So they were around bottom of the league due to not having ridden many meetings. Then they went on a winning run winning everything. Probably rode 10 home in October and still didn't complete their league fixtures, final meeting after all the finals had been raced abandoned. Then Godfrey fined them!

Was definitely interesting shall we say! Whenever Lynn were down TJ was ill! And Hans Andersen said it was our home track advantage, as we knew where they were! Interesting though got sorted out when Dan had the day to day running. So deserves some credit as could be a lot worse if he hadn't sorted it.

That includes the one Rob Lambert and Craig Cook made themselves!

First of all just got back and didn’t see that coming. Expected a 10-12 point win but it was truly men against boys. What do you get when one team is far better than the other? Gate and gone. A meeting needs the opposition riders to gate. Sadly tonight for Glasgow fans, or those rooting for the Tigers, they were outclassed in virtually every heat. Were viewers on BSN expecting to see Complin, Vissing, Nowak or Pijper to pass their opposite numbers? Never going to happen!

There’s no doubt racing wise the meeting was laclustre on track, because there really was only one team that turned up. Heat after heat Pirates were dominant. Glasgow we’re all over the place and never got in a position where they could limit the damage through a T/R as they are disallowed in a final.

At the after meeting press conference the Poole riders praised the track and said it was excellent. There was plenty of dirt on it and the Poole team had no issues whatsoever. No, it doesn’t usually ride so one sided but Glasgow have been far and away the worst team to visit Wimborne Road this season. Even when Poole demolished Plymouth on BSN a couple of months ago, the Gladiators managed to lose by less than the Tigers tonight.

Not a single Tiger can come away from tonight’s meeting thinking they did a good job, perhaps with the exception of Ace Pijper how gave it a go and scored 5. Three heat winners out of 15 is abysmal. Non Poole fans can should and moan and blame any and everything but the truth is it was men against boys tonight and if the opposition hasn’t got what it takes, meetings like this happen.

So bring on the second leg. You never know, Cami knickers might just get his team fired up. What’s the record for the biggest comeback over two legs?
