Lefty
Wolves are represented by Championship riders from Oxford (Sam Masters) & Poole (Steve Worrall). Ipswich are also using two Championship riders who both ride for Redcar (Eric Riss & Danny King). I suppose calling it Premiership allows the admission to go up a few quid? Sadly at this stage Chris Harris is not programmed. A shameful omission!

Bash
Unbelievable that this meeting wasn't arranged for a Monday, why take the risk of going against Poland when we gave up Thursdays for rearranged meetings. No wonder with this line up that it was reduced to one meeting. Total waste of time.
StarBoy
Could we get Richard Lawson and Nick Morris as guests for Nicolai Klindt and Thomas Jorgensen? Pretty please? We'll take Bomber as our R/S for the night as well...
Hackett
If anymore teams drop out of the League - We will be able to call it the Premiership Pair.

No wonder with this line up that it was reduced to one meeting. Total waste of time. I really don’t understand what’s “unbelievable” about it. Emil and Laguta were never riding in the meeting due to other commitments in their schedule so chalk those off. Jason Doyle was down to ride but his meeting in Poland was cancelled last weekend, he is the only rider missing due to a conflict there. Danny King and Erik Riss were part of the Ipswich lineups which won the comp last year, Doyle couldn’t do it all on his own because it’s a team riding event. The rest of the line up features 7 of the top 10 riders, the other 3 missing are Doyle & Emil plus Charles wright, with BV having 3 riders in the top 10. Of course in there you have the current GP number 2 Jack Holder, British Champion Bewley and Max Fricke who is also Leicester track record holder so that’s 3 GP riders. Leicester race on a Thursday, and they are hosting it so this date was allocated at the start of the season with the other 2 rounds removed to make it a single event to avoid fixture congestion in the league, and was decided long before any line up was known. Last year when it ran for 5 events the line ups varied anyway. It’s 2 from the top 5 of a team, not specifically top 2. So I’d say looks fairly competitive. It’ll be a nice evening for speedway, have a solero and enjoy

Or is it just a fixture filler? It's already been devalued and gone from 6 meetings, to 5, to 3... to 1 on a Thursday night... with crowd pulling riders not competing for their clubs. If you weren't there BSNing would you have been making the trip?
