Gary May is one of the best. Would have gladly had him at Birmingham.
glad to say, we have put our house in order.,,,, rogers is no longer team manager.

I know but he's still involved in some capacity i believe.

He is.

Much as I loathed him as a team manager, no one, even me, can deny the vast amount of very good work he does in all other areas. Laurence was not only instrumental in getting the current consortium together, thus ensuring we are still in existence but, is a key cog in helping the directors keep the ship afloat.
having said that, my views on him as a team manager, are well documented.. the phrase I’ve often used, is .. “he’s tactically an inept Buffon”.
he’s in the background now. Let’s hope he stays there

Riss has 3 retirements??! Never seen that before, apart from KK on a wet track.

X2 efs due to ignition issues and 1 ride where he was 4th and just rode into the pit entrance rather than crossing the line. He was winning both of the races that he had the efs in by the way.

Much more encouraging, Redcar are one of the strongest in the league this year, but need to kick on and get some wins.

They do have the least amount of home track advantage though. Plymouth's next away meeting prob a better indicator.

Edit- apart from going to Glasgow all the other away meetings are against Edinburgh, Birmingham and Berwick. Be interesting to see how it goes!

Edit2 - although there are two different dates for Plymouth going to Berwick in the Championship!

Plymouth did well and almost got something out of the meeting helped by Erik riss and his bike troubles ultimately.

The score did flatter the gladiators tho, the bears would have been home and dry a lot sooner but for Erik's e/f 's

Having said that the gladiators battled well with Ben barker and Kyle howarth getting stuck in and James Pearson impressing.

They may feel robbed tho with Danny King falling at the back in heat 13 while Plymouth where on a five one which would have leveled the scores with two heats to go.

It may have been a very different ending if Richie Worrall hadn't shed a chain on the start line and Charles romp away for the win.

Overall I think the bears deserved to win but the glads probably deserved at least a point out of it and got nothing !

Plymouth are at Berwick on the 15th July,  this has always been the date since the fixtures came out.

Berwick Website shows July 15th. Plymouth website shows July 15th and August 6th which is a Sunday

Only way for that to happen is a "stupid heat"

In my opinion the superheat is nonsense, absolute garbage in why it is used, A draw is a draw end of

I understand it for bonus point or in a cup/ play off match. But as you say why can't it just be a draw in the league

A draws a draw. You don't get more in any other sport for keeping it tight or drawing away from home. That scoring was a nonsense imo

Eddie Howe liked the idea of a scoring system of a point for keeping it within 6 away and extra point for away draw. ;)

Whether he was being diplomatic idk, but he did say it in local press when at AFCB.
