Edinburgh v Birmingham 23-Jun-23 Championship

Recommended Posts

Friday 23rd June: Edinburgh Monarchs v Birmingham Brummies (Championship), Armadale, 7:30pm

STELLAR MONARCHS: Josh Pickering, rider replacement for Paco Castagna, Bastian Borke, Kye Thomson (captain), Craig Cook, Dayle Wood, Lasse Fredriksen.

CURTIS SPORT BRUMMIES: Nick Morris, Alfie Bowtell, Troy Batchelor, Dan Thompson, Justin Sedgmen (captain), Sam Hagon, Joe Thompson.

Teams from Monarchs website.

Josh & Cookie back, but now Paco out for the Monarchs. New improved Brummies team and manager will be on a high after their first home league win tonight, but they were on a high after winning at Plymouth before our last meeting with them at Perry Barr and that ended in a comfortable Monarchs win. I would expect the same on Friday although we are a bit exposed using R/R should anything happen to any other rider during the meeting.

Have you a web address? The Edinburgh site just gives 'EMTV', whatever that is, not a streaming service.

I think you have to sign up and create an account on EMTV

Well that's a big improvement/compliment for 'us' (B'ham), if you only 'think' that it will be a home win coz Pickering/Cook are back ?Ā :D

I think, B'ham will run em close tonight!

Sedgy in a bit of form at the moment so expect him to get double figures. Morris normally goes well round our place. Batch will either be a hit or a miss.Ā

Iā€™d like to think the likes of kye, lasse and borke will have the beating of the Brummies lower end. Iā€™d take any form of home win big or small as it will secure the bonus point regardless.
