Big congrats to Leicester better team on the night. Jack Holder absolutely class kept us in it. Would have never believed Toby would not get a win from 5 rides. Have to give big credit to Sedgmen,  was sad to see him go last year and he showed exactly what we miss this year.

Pickering picked up after a poor start. Not sure what’s up with Ellis this year looks a shadow of the heat leader in 2021 really hope he can turn his season around.

thought Leicester would be top 4, now I think they are the favourites to win the play offs.

Two similar away wins in a week for the Lions. Fewest heat winners in both matches. Down to the last heat in both, despite having had decent leads. Carried Harris in both. Come on Bomber, join in. Being entertaining is not about screwing up in Heat 14 to keep it exciting. Yeah, I know, I’m being greedy, Dicko’s boys are on fire!

For every cock up bomber does I feel he is too useful away from home. Just gets stuck in and inspires everyone. Still think he's a little off on home soil.

Lions really on form right now - they were pretty solid - Sedgeman was excellent and possible their matchwinner 9+2 was a great score from a visiting no 2

given the stick the track got last week with lack of passing there was plenty of decent racing and passing by tonight!! Plenty of water was put down. Pick of the races was probably any involving Bomber and or Howarth / Pickering.

in heat 15 Lawson and Fricke team ride for 2 laps holding up Musielak before he did get past Lawson but he had too much ground to make up - so the Lions got the win they deserved and had almost thrown away.

He was unlucky / slack in heat 10 lions were cruising to a 5-1 and he clipped the lower fence panel as he threw the bike going into the third bend and down he went along with the others behind him!

that 1-5 turned to  3-3 and gave the Tigers a chance to get back into it which they took!

What a match! First time I've been to Sheffield in about 10 years and to be honest I was expecting a bit of a dull affair as it's not the track it used to be... Wrong!

Lions were electric from the gate with the only real opposition coming from Jack Holder and Musielak who was always dangerous when behind if a little wild at times. One thing I can't understand... Bomber was clearly the slowest rider out there, riding slower than a slow thing yet unbelievably he was passing people and then managing to stay in front... when he wasn't clipping the fence and falling off, it was quite amazing to watch.

Track probably just needed a tiny bit more water on it and it would have been perfect and I wouldn't have come home with a Tiger tan!

Any advice on parking as it was the usual bore getting out of the car park... which I didn't mind so much in the past but now I'm paying £3 for that privilige it's not so much fun, even after an away win :drink:

You can park in some side roads or a bit further away and walk, it was made worse by the roadworks - I spent about 20 minutes queueing to get into the car park, the crowd was also larger than normal so it all had a knock on effect.

There also is a paid for Car Park near Hillsborough corner (not sure if its free at night) - its probably a 5-10 minute walk to the stadium from there.

Leicester looking a good solid team last night - should have won by more!

Best team won on the night but Sheffield must be having serious doubts about Adams form. Good rider but way off where he should be this season. Don’t know if it’s hand injury or his bikes but something is not right. The way it’s going at the moment he will get a spell at reserve which could be a good thing for him and the team

Problem is Sheffield can’t carry Adam long enough for his average to drop to be number 6, if the promotion aren’t looking now for a replacement it could be too late if left until end of July averages as there’s 6 matches in that period and play off place could be over by then
