Glasgow v Edinburgh CL 16/9/23 @19-30

Recommended Posts

After opening our home league campaign with a comfortable win over the hapless Brummies , its the turn of the other diddy team to get battered this week .

After pumping them in their own midden last week , its important we show them no mercy at the cauldron of speed tomorrow night and build up the points difference .

We should be as we were last Friday , but who knows who will turn out for them .

Will Pickering be fit ?

Will Cook get permission from Nurse Ratchet to ride ?

Or will it be two guests again ? With only Birmingham , Oxford and Berwick not in action   choices are limited . If it is two guests my guess would be Schlein and Kerr , but who knows .

With another scorchio week up here in Hotland,  the track staff will have their work cut out to live up to.their impeccable standards.

I wonder if anyone knows the Edinburgh team for tomorrow it appears very quiet on all fronts I wonder if JDC will be waiting for a 2pm call before deciding on his 1-7 hope they have more than 1 spare race jacket

He will have given his 1-7 already, so there should be no "secrecy".

I doubt it will be Rory as he isn't riding for Wolves tonight.

Pickering not returning till Sunday in Poland so guess for him. Cook less said the better.

Thought Cook signing was the return off the messiah.

Not turning out as planned, you seem to be rather sceptical on his injury, is there another reason for your concerns?.

No press release with the sides from either team says it all.

I’d be surprised if we see him again any time soon or again to be honest. Think our guests are going to be rubbish hence the last minute announcement to try not put people off going.

Be a similar score to the Birmingham match regardless.

Starting to think might be right. Sedgy and r/r is what I'm thinking now. Kerr dislikes the travelling to Glasgow (from when he was with us) and having did Edinburgh last week no sure fancy it. Schlein injured, flint poor at ashfield, Nichols maybe but has other priorities these days.

Maybe Glasgow should send the Edinburgh promotion an invoice based on the loss of away fan income because they are fielding an under strength team

Berwick, Oxford and Birmingham the only teams not riding. Rory injured. So leaves us with the choices of Sedgmen, Nicholls and Kerr as the only option.

But do I expect anything from a bitter man with a camera not really.

Just take it off the money owed for years of garbage Glasgow teams that were sent along the M8 cheers.
