Lawson is certainly carrying an injury and it shows, but a great team effort again and the Cooks and reserves come to our rescue. Steve’s home form is a massive concern, can’t beat any away teams heat leaders consistently all season. Hope he can get it sorted otherwise our luck will run out when riders making up for him have an off night.

Is it a massive concern when Poole still keep winning at home & on aggregate?

For Plymouth or Edinburgh it'd be a big concern after home defeats, but Poole are so strong, their top mam can drop a point off his average & they'll probably still win the treble!

Nicholls absolutely superb this season - has he invested heavily in equipment for his final season? Brilliant to see him going so well - one of Britains finest.

Has he announced it's his final season? Haven't seen that news anywhere. I'd be surprised if it is.

He’s certainly got a couple of seasons left in him at Championship level, unless he has other things lined up in his life.

I think he’s top of the averages in the Championship (across all comps) this year isn’t he? He’s in amazing form.

Always thought Scott and Bomber top riders, maybe they don't quite get the credit they deserve. Even at gp level there was a time when both got very close to the elite without quite getting to the top. Not far off tho

Scott is a class act and to his credit he's genuinely a nice bloke.

I remember when he first started out at Peterborough/ipswich as a sixteen year old and his longevity is a credit to him.

No, but he had to invest in some new underwear after this...
