Heat 2 aces on 5-1 l, cook falls then rerun flint wins.

Heat 6, Bewley EF when winning easy.

Heat 2 Aces on a clear 4-2 cook comes off and re-run is 3-3.  Heat 6 Aces nailed on 5-1 Bewley has an engine failure becomes a 3-3.

Thats Speedway tho ...last bend wasnt it ???

Yep last bend, you can't say being 8 up with 3 to play then losing is just Speedway.  You have to win from there.

Think that might be referring to   heats 2 and 6 when the Aces looked to be heading for comfortable 5-1s, but ended up as 3-3s.

After Cook's fall and exclusion in heat 2 (whilst third) with Flint at the back, the rerun was won by Flint.

Heat 6 saw Bewley pull up whilst leading by a considerable distance with Brennan second.

Think anyone would think that was 'bad luck' on their team, but it is all part and parcel of speedway.

Without checking the heat details would that prevented Bewleys TR ride later ?

Yes as Aces would of only been 2 down rather than 8.

Aces were on 5-1s in heat 2 and 6 that eventually ended as 3-3s due to the rerun and engine failure  respectively.

So Aces 'lost ' 4 points and Wolves 'gained ' 4 points in those heats.

As it was 26-34 when Bewley came in as tac sub, the scores would have been level at 30-30.

I posted on the Updates about bringing in a Handicap format for re-run's. The guy that was leading starts at the tapes. Person in 2nd starts 5 metres back, guy in 3rd 10 metres back. I always find it very harsh especially when a team is on a 5-1 that someone stays down. Could work well in the GP's also for example in the last one when Jack Holder basically had it in the bag before race was stopped.

Yes that's true, but I was classing heat 2 as a 4-2 as that's what we were on before cook fell, but yes if cook had got up quicker  then it was a 5-1.

Yep, see what you mean about your calculation.

you also had wright engine blow up after wolves rider moved at start then he never got back under the 1 minuet rule.

Add this, and with Blodorn's absence as was mentioned earlier, then you could say that Belle Vue had quite a bit of 'bad luck' with today's match.

Yes.  For some reason Eurosport would rather go to Monbore than a proper track

Not sure if Mark Lemon or any of the Aces team come on here..

However, just in case they do..

Dont go wide on bend two..

Instead..

Go into bend one mid track and lock up sharpley...

Then hit the apex of bend two, hugging the white line..

That way, no Wolves rider can pass under you...

(Don't let anyone know I told you though as it is a big secret).....:D

But what if the match score is 45-45 and the super heat finished 5-4 to Wolves at Monmore its all level over the two meetings then

Although doubtful BV will get 45 tonight

No it is 90-all after two legs with Wolves having won the bonus point.
