Young people now have to pay to send their children to school? When did free education end?:D

In fairness, in this instance, he is right - it costs for your child to be in what is called wrap around care at ‘breakfast’ or ‘after school club’ before and after school… although I feel like we might be going slightly off topic here.

How many under-16s go to a track on their own?

Sheffield £22 for me and £1 for my daughter

Redcar and Scunny both £20 for me and daughter is free

A  friend of mine who is a season ticket holdert at Owlerton with his son - they took an extra 3 along last week to the Kings Lynn match as it was only £1 so the offers possibly do work.

It compares favourably with taking the kids to one of the local Rugby League or football games.

As with everything, the hard part is persuading people to get out of the house!

Quite another friend took 2 of his three sons to Wembley yesterday, I shudder to think how much that all cost!

Sorry, my comment was talking about the vast majority.

You are one of the good guys.

You have missed the point. You have made a sweeping generalisation about older people. Can you prove it with empirical evidence ?
