Sheffield v King’s Lynn - 25th May

Problem KL have is Picko's injury may not heal all season like MPT last year.

Nowhere near fit and may not be 100% for the rest of the season, TJ is awful on the road so he should be making way in the team changes but KL maybe forced into sticking with him after tonight if Picko needs to take some extra time off.

I do fear Picko might be out for a while.

I said i wouldn't moan as Alex was going the extra mile to bring in a No.1. And i won't. But i will say Picko is a big worry for me, injury wise. Klindt would be better as a middle order rider than TJ. Who would be Alex Brady now..

Not sure if we were brilliant or KL crap. Maybe abit of both? Klindt and MPT were trying their hardest. Edwards great ride in heat 4 held his nerve well against a fast Musielak.

Holder level above everyone else tonight looked ridiculously fast. So good to see Ellis back at it genuinely looked much smoother, Bellego must be sore was a bad one that.

shout out to Dan Gilkes, classy tonight rode well and attacked the track. Can see him only getting better and better

Solid win for Tigers just what was needed after the losing run away from home. Good team performance and Dan Gilkes is looking very impressive   Saw him at Plymouth recently and it’s good to see he can ride any size track. Be interesting what average he finishes the season with. Looks very comfortable on the bike with a nice style. Good attitude aswell  and was on track practicing even tho he’d just posted his best score. Well done Dan

With the return of this meeting on the 1st June am I correct in assuming Klindt and Bellego will be missing, due to the clash of fixtures with Bydgoscz and Gdansk? Or do the english fixtures take precedence?

I am sure that the new rule brought in by the Poles was that any rearranged meeting(all 3 divisions) takes priority to allow Polish Ekstaliga riders to ride in 3 leagues.

Just a side note to the meeting, looked really a bit shoddy and unprofessional Douglas not being provided with a Kings Lynn race jacket or shirt as a guest, just a duct taped number 5 in his back

Had the duct tape been previously used on the King''s Lynn pit gate? B)
