Poole Vs Scunny league 24th May

Recommended Posts

Scunny keeping this close is a minor miracle with a 4 man team … The Cook brothers having an off night …. Scunny hopes in 13 and 15 and if they 6 behind after heat 13 then Douglas T/S for sure ….

Worralls home form is a concern

Super Ryan Douglas 18 pt maximum  making a mockery of Pirates fans calling a big result out earlier in the week , a few others pitched in for the Scorpions .

Ive watched on streams and visited most championships tracks and tonight was a very boring meeting , gate and go all night and I wouldn’t pay to watch that week in week out . Not a patch on proper raceways like Oxford ,Glasgow, Redcar and Scunthorpe  .  Great chance to get the bonus point back at the EW Raceway

I would just be grateful you have that!

Thought Rob Godfrey's comments tonight were quite interesting. Saying he begged Drew Kemp to come to Scunny and also that Poole tried to sign Kemp when Jack Thomas got injured and he said no to that too. Also sounded like if Rowe wasn't at Poole they would have tried to sign him and also mentioned 'other pieces of a jigsaw'. So am assuming more changes after 28 days are up? Said Tom Brennan wouldn't return his calls about guesting tonight.

Well if we get an 8 point win after everyone riding just okay, then not too worrying imo.

Well done to Ryan Douglas a class above everyone else tonight. Though Ben Cook might have had a sniff in heat 15 but no, Douglas powered from the gate and was gone. Punched the air when crossing the line.

‘Scunthorpe put up a very decent fight, with Simon Lambert having his best ever meeting at Poole. Heat 4 was a complete mess though with Ben Cook falling in a race he would normally have won and a normal 5-1 from the Cooks turned into a 2-4 which set the tone for the first half of the meeting. Eventually Pirates got the upper hand and pulled away but it wasn’t easy. Douglas could have had 15 rides and would have been unbeaten.

Could have been really close had MPT been there. Fair play Scunny.

Mental taking the 4-2 in 13, surely TM told them.if no 5-1 make sure 3-3? Might be difference in the bonus point

If I were team manager , I would have told Scorps to get a 3-3 in heat 13 then give Dougy a tactical in heat 14

Maybe the Poole manager told his lads too?
