Firstly a big thank you and congratulations to all of the Workington management/Promoters/volunteers and sponsors to revive our club and put together an amazing race track and team. Teams below not in riding order. Workington : Connor Bailey Luke Crang Harry McGurk Ace Pijper Sam McGurk Elliot Kelly. Kelsey Dugard Edinburgh: Kyran Lyden Mickie Simpson Alex Spooner Adam Roynon Dayle Wood Kyle Bickley Jacob Hook Going to be a close one as a season opener on our new track especially with local lads Adam and Kyle in the Edinburgh team I think we can pull off a home win but like most people I’m just happy to see racing again at Workington after so long. Mr Blobby Posted May 13, 2023 Report Share Posted May 13, 2023 Was always going to difficult for the academy with the comets being clear favourites for the league this year and with plenty of laps under their belt round their new home. I’m saying that best going there now than later in the season as They effectively have 4 heat leaders at the moment, 5 when Harrison is back fit. I thought Workington were favourites with Harrison, without him SHOULD be tougher, but they've proved perhaps even stronger than I predicted with the form of Sam McGurk & Elliott Kelly.
