garf
A very exciting match with a lot of good racing, drama and tension untill the very last heat. The Danish Championship was settled in the very last heat in a very unlucky way as Kenneth had a mechanically failure whilst in the position to win the championship to Slangerup. Before the last heat, Slangerup was leading by 7 points, which was enough to be in the game and take the Bonus-point. Nicki Pedersen takes the gating but the next 2 places are taken by Bjarne Pedersen and Kenneth. 3 points, or more is enough to take the bonus-point, but between the first and second bend, on the second lap, Kenneth gets in trouble as his rear-chain is getting stocked in a position where he was chasing NP. Bjarne tries to catch NP but can't get enough speed in the bike, ans Slangerup looses the heat 4-2. The team behind Kenneth is of the opinion that the crash in heat 12, where NP is excluded, has caused a failure in the "chain-control", as the mechanic is tightening up some bolts on the part after the crash. From a spectators point of view, the crash seemed to be very a cynical and deliberately act from the World Champ, which I believe was Kenneth's opinion too as he had a little arguement with NP between the crash and the re-run. A very sad way to loose the championship in. Kenneth scored 12 points i 5 heats . Courtesy to www.speedway-league : Score-sheet.
Hanne
From a spectators point of view, the crash seemed to be very a cynical and deliberately act from the World Champ, which I believe was Kenneth's opinion too as he had a little arguement with NP between the crash and the re-run.A very sad way to loose the championship in. Kenneth scored 12 points i 5 heats . Seemed to be deliberate?? No doubt it was deliberate, NP knew Kenneth would come charging round the outside of him on the fourth bend, he waited for him and put him in the fence... Kenneth was brilliant all night, he fighted his little heart out and did a great job for Slangerup, it was a real shame to loose a chain in the last heat, but that's what happens sometimes - Slangerup did not have lady luck on their side, too bad.. Good luck to Kenneth in Poland next weekend, we will be cheering for the danes all the way

tarabanko
Kenneth Bjerre is really good, but look out after his little brother Lasse whos is racing 80cc. Saw Lasse in Motala later this year and ohh boy what a racer. I hope Kenneth Bjerre will continue going forward and grace the speedway tracks many years to come.
