Guest stanclrules
Not as much as ya know. I think it's when danes are talking in german, they often use it as a reply to sth. they don't know an answer for.. example (in english): did you know that rider x had a crash at idunno? - oKAAAYY *wondering* Edited June 4, 2004 by stanclrules

JT
Yes go PUK!!! I'd imagine both these riders will be in the GP's next year anyway, both show how far ahead the Danish youngsters are compared to the Brits!
garf
Yes go PUK!!! I'd imagine both these riders will be in the GP's next year anyway, both show how far ahead the Danish youngsters are compared to the Brits! It will be very difficult because only two riders qualifies from the qualification final in Vojens this August.

garf
You must be made up Garf - really chuffed for you (and Kenneth too!). Take it you will be in attendance! Look for the KB Fan-klub. We will be there all wearing yellow T-shirts, and hopefully having our yellow banner up as well. If one of tribunes collapses, then it might be because the club has been jumping too much due to some good KB performance. It will be so great. It has been so hard to wait for the wild card, as we have all been thinking that one of them really did belong to KB.
garf
Kenneth was riding in the Danish League this evening for his club Slangerup close to Copenhagen. Slangerup won the match 52-44 and is leading the league. Kenneth scored 16 points in 6 heats, and became "the Strongest Partner" by beating M. Risager in this extra 2 rider heat. Furthermore Kenneth was elected as the Fighter of the match and cut about 1.2 second of the track-record. For those of you comming to Denmark for the GP in Copenhagen, it will be possible to see a bit of Danish Speedway too as Slangerup will race vs Brovst (Hans Nielsen's old club in Denmark) on the sunday after the GP (27/6). On one of the other threads there is a description on how to find the track. Look here : http://www.slangerupspeedway.dk/directions.htm Which is copied from the other thread. Addy
COPENHAGEN GRAND PRIX. Kenneth and PUK has got the wild cards for the GP in Copenhagen. You must be made up Garf - really chuffed for you (and Kenneth too!). Take it you will be in attendance! Woooooo That's good news. We watched them have a nice chat on Monday at BV - well when I say we watched them Puk had his back to us - but luckilly SR spotted some of her mum's friends on the other side of the bar - who coincidently had a good vantage point. And some people go to Paris to view the Mona Lisa This was much more satisfying As you said, C-Hawk and Jemma, I'll have to come down to Oxford sometime
Mick Dundee
It's great to see that Kenneth has got the Wildcard. In my eyes kenneth could certainly be a future world champion, and with any luck itll be while he's riding for Belle Vue!
garf
Kenneth scored today 8+1 in 6 heats. Another match was lost. This time 57-39, and Kenneth scored 8+1 in 6 heats. In Kenneth's first heat he defeated the ruling World Champion, as he made a terrific gating, and managed to keep all the opponents behind him. The heattime became the fourth fastest in the match. Unfortunately for the Piraterna one or two riders was obviously not performing what they usually do, and therefore it became very difficult for the Piraterna to make a good figure. garf
GP Copenhagen is no secret. Kenneth made it to the SEMI's and ended up as 3 here. 13 points and a shared 5th place is OK. In Slangerup on the sunday after the GP, Kenneth scored 14+1 in 6 heats. He was cutting another 3/10 of a second of the excisting track-record, but this new record was again cut of by 2/10 by the Polish rider Paluch. In Sweden on the 29th of June, Kenneth was riding OK and scored 12 points in 6 heats. Unfortunately Kenneth had one bad heat with no points scored. garf
In Sweden tonight, Kenneth scored 13 points in 6 heats, and might have taken the track-record as well if he had taken the other bike from the start. Furthermore Kenneth scored more points than almost all the other riders ind the round in Sweden this evening. Another good performance of Kenneth. Anders
What went wrong in Sweden tonight, KB scored very badly He didn´t gate at all yesterday but he still put himself in some scoring positions throughout the meeting, just didn´t happen to score. Better than the score suggested anyhow. 1 [61.2]: P Nahlin, N Pedersen, K Bjerre, T Bajerski. (1-5) Bjerre tried to catch Nahlin but moved a bit too wide on the second bend of lap three so Pedersen could pass. 5 [60.9]: B Janniro, D Balinski, J B Jensen, K Bjerre. (2-4) Good fight with countryman Jensen who he passed on the outside on bend two of lap two, only for Jensen to come back underneath him on the fourth bend. 7 [60.0]: B Hamill, J B Jensen, K Bjerre, T Bajerski. (1-5) From the gate. Bjerre tried to get a grip on Jensen but couldn´t quite do it. 13 [59.7]: N Pedersen, K Bjerre, G Walasek, J B Jensen. (3-3) Comfortable tied heat for the home duo as Pedersen was way ahead but Jensen was way off. 14 [60.4]: S Nicholls, B Hamill, K Bjerre (T/S for Bajerski), K Pecyna (M). (1-5) From the gate. 16 [60.3]: G Walasek, N Pedersen, S Nicholls, K Bjerre. (3-3) Bjerre rode on the outside, trying to make ground on Pedersen, but rode too wide, so Nicholls went up on the inside for a pass on bend four of lap two. Summary: Kenneth Bjerre: 1-0-1-2-1-0 = 5 (6)
garf
As said on his homepage : One can't expected that KB will score 10-12 points in every match through the whole season. KB had his "OFF-DAY" ot the season, and it might as well be due to the cancellations of the matches in the UK that he did loose a bit of the usual "Gating-edge". Jenn
Wouldnt be surprised if the lack of meetings in the UK is starting to effect KB's riding Hopefully his sharpness will return in time for cramming all the fixtures in at Belle Vue in August!
