I hear that a Leicester team will also be involved on Thursday and won't need to be propped-up with guests. Or is it just a rumour.

Depends if you count Bomber as a guest :D

LEICESTER: Max Fricke, Justin Sedgmen, Richard Lawson, Chris Harris, Nick Morris, Jake Allen, Dan Thompson.

KING’S LYNN: Nicolai Klindt, Thomas Jorgensen, Frederik Jakobsen, Steve Worrall, Michael Palm Toft, Craig Cook, Jason Edwards.

Apparently Lewis Kerr is booked for Monday at Ipswich and Thursday at home for Picko

Lewi Kerr is/was booked for Monday and Thursdays matches against Ipswich but he suffered a concussion last night riding for Oxford, so we're going to have to rethink our guest now

Cook at reserve will destroy and Allen and Thomson

Not only that but he would have had 7 rides as well. I've always wished  that if a team brings in a guest rider he should only be allowed to be used in programmed rides. Not as a tactical and not in heat 15. If at reserve only the regular reserve be allowed to have extra rides.

Could be harsh if you have a free scoring reserve who might take up to 7 rides to then be penalised to only allowing a guest to only have 4 rides. Just the flip side of that argument.

Only the regular reserve should be allowed to have 7 rides free scoring or not. Guests in any position should not be allowed more the 4 rides.

Just over an hour to scheduled start time & not even a hint of rain. It is overcast but can see the clear skies behind.

Another Leicester Speedway mess up

To be the fair the forecast is awful from this point onwards. We will see what happens after half 7

I live a mile and a half from the stadium and it rained from about 3pm to 4:30 then dried up a bit and it's currently raining again with it looking set in for the night... totally correct decision.

You must feel a bit silly

They never called off meetings due to weather forecasts years ago because they could take the financial hit unlike today due to a lot less people attending meetings.

Personally I'm OK with it even if the rain hadn't turned up, which it has, it was certainly forecast to, a large band crossing the country. And they left it until the day of the meeting to make the decision. What annoys me is when clubs call off the day before based on a forecast of showers, which we all know can be hit and miss.

I'm four miles from the track and it's been raining steadily since before first race time. I think you wrong to be so critical this time Lenny!

Things are so tight, i don't think they can risk it anymore.

To be fair, it does say, "Weather permitting" in the small print of all forecasts :P

As I said, it was the flip side of the argument.
