He was pretty adamant about it too.

It would have been if Leicester could have offered a date when their track could be raceable. Worse problem than your soft potato patch. No fault of either club just a series of poor decisions and organising has made this meaningless, this situation should never be allowed to happen again. No fault of either club I'd say the exact opposite. They decided they didn't want a one off final at Sheffield last year. Then dilly-dallied around arranging fixtures, so didn't get it done last year. You would have thought it would have been easy enough to arrange a home and away challenge as a warm up for the new season but no we've got a one off meeting at Poole at the very end of this season. Wouldn't be surprised if it was rained off.

Be lucky to get 150 people attend. And Wednesday is forecast to be a dry day in Poole. Looking forward to another meeting!

Silly idea then. 20 Fans from each club and a tiny scattering of Sheffield fans. No wonder the idea was chucked.
Essex
Many different opinions but at the end of the day it's another meeting fans can attend may or may not be a proper trophy at stake but a final chance to see speedway this season enjoy it while you can.
IainB
This competition is now about as worthy winning as the Hokey-Cokey Cup that Coventry and Peterborough contested a few years back or the We'll meet again trophy that was ridden for at Wolves last night! As for tomorrow, its not a challenge. Every team in the league participated and so its no different to the k o cup. Just a shame leicester couldnt get their act together last season.

Edit - met office has rain for 5pm today until 8am tomorrow. But nothing after that. Edited October 24, 2023 by lisa-colette
