Tommy Sweetman
Hoping for a good turn out following last week's devastating news, but looking at the forecast think the rain will win the day.If it does get the go-ahead it will be much closer than the Lynn and Aces thrashings, with the Lions having quite a few track specialists in their line-up. Going for a 10 point home victory . Edited April 23, 2023 by Tommy Sweetman

Forecast doesn't look that iffy... would have been nice for them to give a reason You would have thought with this being the first home meeting since the terrible news of last week that they would have moved heaven and earth to get it on, while interest in "the story" is still high... local TV in attendance etc. Maybe the track is waterlogged though... we just don't know Edited April 24, 2023 by iainb

IainB
Funny that the picture they've used on their Twitter post for a "Wolves" rider is the guesting Chris Harris... sums it all up really
Col
Very wet in Wolverhampton last two days. Met office predicting another downpour at 16:00, no sun, correct decision. Edited April 24, 2023 by Col

We do now... "A mixture of heavy weekend rain, low temperatures and the prospect of afternoon showers have led to the early postponement." Very suspect call off this Don't know what could possibly be "suspect" about this match being off, 2 full strength teams (I count using Nicholls as being at full strength) plus loads of publicity over the stadium, could have led to a massive crowd. I'm sure the last thing Wolves would want is a postponement!
