I fully understand why many think Peterborough will get battered but this is the best & fair track in Britain.

Doesn't matter what teams turn up to the NSS, Belle Vue could be beaten. It's all about 'on the day'.

Peterborough will get battered, Belle Vue are far better and will win easily.

I want to know what requires payment given he owns nothing but the name

You're the one that said "just sell the club" so even you know there's value. Those naming rights have a price & it's whatever Buster sees fit, evwn when you're homeless

So he'd rather see it die? I thought he was such a great speedway man

People keep saying Tomalin should buy the club, what if Buster has slapped an absolutely outrageous price tag on it? Which he probably has.

if Tomalin wants to buy the club and invest in a new stadium and it wont happen because Chapman is asking for way too much then you can absolutely understand why their fans are against him.

at the end of the day, it cant be worth much at all. Its a failing business in a stadium that isnt theres. A few rider assets which are next to worth next to nothing anyway, along with a couple of tractors and an airfence?

It is more than likely Chapman wants to sell it for more than he paid for it and Tomalin being a good business man wont pay the money for something that he feels isn't worth it. You could view it as Buster being a good businessman and wanting to make a profit too i guess but seeing as he has no intentions of moving the club to a new stadium, and this being there last at the Showground, I would be pretty p****d off as a Peterborough fan as well.

An idea then, MT pays what he thinks it's worth, if Peterborough fans are that desperate, they can club together and pay the difference to what Chapman thinks it's worth.

Just launch another team within the location.. .

If no Panthers exist then no 'x' mileage rule..

What about the Peterborough Pirates?

We have two Tigers so why not have two Pirates?

Or the Penguins?

Pilchards?

Pandas?

Parrots?

Pigs?

Monkey Tennis..?

I’m not sure he wants the club, even for cheap right now.. As far as I now he hasn’t brought a site to re locate the club to.

Ticket sales are very very poor.

could be the lowest crowd we’ve seen for a long time.

Just been on the website...

Wow..

Never seen as much "Red" showing on the day of the match ever I would think..

Even AB has about 75% availability.

Hopefully the South Stand is rammed as the parking there is full, and they get a good "walk up" crowd for the main stand...

I know my business drops money nowadays on the week/weekend before pay day as people tighten their belts and tend to then "splash out a bit" when they get paid on the 1st..

Maybe Speedway one week out from pay day is something that will be sacrificed by a fair few?

Weirdly, I think somehow this gets blocked. The failed Somerset relaunch earlier this year came across this problem from the old promotors even though we haven’t ran since covid.

Bollocks , youd be the first one crying like a baby if Lynn were to close at the end of the season and Buster wouldnt sell to someone who had plans to move them to a new stadium.

I'm not sure he would :D

The bottom line is that nobody knows what the situation is between the two men, but it needs sorting ASAP.
