Would agree regarding the track ,trouble is only a couple of your Team would want dirt on track.Slick track are the norm these days.

Watching the likes of cook and Pickering not even close to making a pass last night due to the way it’s set up isn’t great. No grip there for them do there thing. Took kye who was miles faster than Coles to eventually get passed as well again down to conditions.

Unfortunately you’re right and it’s killing the home track advantage these days as it’s got to the point now where like last night for example riders who’d normally struggle round the place are getting round no bother.

You want a balance though, some grip for your racers to use but it's no fun long term when away riders struggle and can't get round smoothly. We had all that at Lynn in the noughties.

Sorry to bring Poland into the frame again, but just this week a Meeting was cancelled because the track was not prepared up to standard ( nothing to do with weather) just shows the Professional way the sport is run.

Agreed. We had that I want to say just before Covid when it was really grippy and we were just destroying teams cause they couldn’t get round. But need to have something there for home boys to try make a pass.

This issue started last year when it’s became to slick when we don’t make a gate even though we are miles quicker there’s nothing there to get past on.

Not sure but Scunny we’re using a Jason Edwards as a guest at reserve.Maybe depends on averages.

Ace would be obvious candidate?

He certainly would be ,but really using a guest from a Team in your own section doesn’t help credibility.

It certainly doesn't but when Edwards has just helped Scunthorpe into pole position in the Northern group then credibility is out the window

It shouldn't be allowed, utterly ridiculous.

In this case it wouldn't be so bad, as long as Glasgow beat Berwick at home they will qualify, so Ace racing for Berwick isn't an issue. It was worse with Edwards helping Scunny to a win at Birmingham, that could certainly hinder Redcar's progress!

However it would have been a very simple rule to implement, you can't guest for another team in your group!

Do not forget that Redcar used Birmingham's J Sedgmen against Scunthorpe.

Not really sure how to describe last night. Other than Rory, Berwick were bang average. We were awful to put it nicely.

Don’t know what’s going on with the track at the moment easy for away riders to ride with it being slick and nothing on it. Track and starts different every week so difficult to get a consistent set up. Get some dirt down and make grippy again making it far too easy for the opposition these days with the way we set it up now imo.

How is a 2 pointer getting 9+2 bang average?

Berwick was the same when I used to come up on Rockets Northern tours in the 2000’s. Track was bumpy as hell. No visiting sides enjoyed coming up here. Now it’s super smooth and a lot more inviting

The press reports into the postponement did say that it was everything to do with the weather in lublin recently.
