Good management that. Had another poor night up to that but giving him as many opportunities as possible to get a confidence boost and he got just that in 15 beating a strong home pair. Fingers crossed gives him a spring in his step going in to Thursday against Sheffield.

Looks like we just had far too much top end strength for Leicester to handle. Again only 3 from R/R so we’re going to need a fit Riss back sharpish going forward as the reserves continue to struggle. Expected more from those two around Leicester especially.

Rew rode far better than his score suggests and was pretty much on the pace most of the night.

Emil was different gravy and a pleasure to watch, absolute bargain on an 8 point average when Max is 8.55.

Don't know why he's having a pop at his clubs fans for tbh.

They are getting told off for criticising Rew too much?

Perfect response to Thursday, maybe the home loss to the Aces doesn't seem so bad given the thumping they have dished out to Peterborough tonight!

Please to see King have a good night and also wins for Rew and Danyon, hopfully confidence boosters! Lets hope it isn't the Aces in the next round!

It’s the Pussycats I think! A fit Riss makes a difference to this side also. To still win with R/R struggling to cover for him is very positive.

Witches fans are the worst (after Poole fans)   one week Joe Thompson does a great job and is on the pace, the next week he's out of his depth etc.

Last season Doyle is a one man team, this season with Emil its now too weak at the bottom end

Can't have the whole cake and eat it

Good on Doyle for mentioning it, people need to be able to take it when they give it

It did seem to me a sort of - 'come on we lost one meeting at home and some seem to think this is a disaster' - Witches unbeaten away from home (for now) so doing something right!

Nah can’t agree here. Haven’t seen anything over critical on here. Maybe the odd concern over the bottom end which is justified. It’s a forum after all! The more vociferous comments after the Belle Vue defeat came from fans of other clubs who were quick to have a pop.

He might not have been referencing this forum either by the way who knows what he’s seen or where he’s seen it.

could be twitter could be facebook etc!

Agree nothing much so far on here - concern yes but no outright hostility - he did say internet rather than forum so who knows!

Off topic, your username rings a bell. Didn’t you used to be the webmaster for the official Witches website back in the day?

Ahh thought so. Can remember a long back and forth convo we had about Tobi Kroner many moons ago! Pretty scary how quick these years tick by..

Anyway, uppa Witches :D

Gosh Tobi Kroner - decent lad - that all came cos he had the balls to email the club through the website about a trial!

If it was the same person contradicting themselves you’d have a point but it isn’t so that’s a bit of a random generalisation! There were those last year that did indeed think Doyle lacked back up, are they the exact same people that are now saying the bottom end is too weak now that back up has arrived? Not sure it is personally. Two different Witches fans can have two different opinions and stick to them. Which one fan said Joe Thompson was on the pace doing a good job, and then said the following week he was out of his depth? Or was it as I suspect, two different people with differing opinions?

Its a mixture

Its on Facebook so you see one week (when they win) they are full of praise then when they lose its the opposite

Some are always positive, some are always negative so i would re quote myself and say "some witches fans"

Rew, Hume, Thompson should all improve as the season goes on and this team is not the finished article yet. Those three tonight chipped in with 12 points between them so not all doom and gloom. It baffles me that Hume gets expected to score more points in a very tough position how many people expect him to beat Fricke away from home….? Keep the faith with Rew as there is a good longterm rider in there and Ippo will get the rewards by persevering with him exsperience is key for him.
