It has to be a facility, otherwise the injured rider wouldn't be allowed to come back in with a higher average after Greensheet changes. If Wolves team average went to 39.01 they'd still be allowed to reintroduce Becker after 28 days.

Even though it doesn't appear in the regulations as a facility (which it should), it is a facility for the above reasons.

This is one of those situations that Phil Morris needs to get ahold of quickly. As again, 'Individual Interpretation' rather than 'Matter of Fact' is the norm.

The whole rule book needs hard & fast rules, the problem is, the whole rule book is is "at the discretion of the SCB / BSP LTD Directors".

This alone means the rule book is worthless.

Speedway needs 'Hard & Fast' rules, only at the discretion of Phil Morris & nobody else. Once an anomaly arises Phil Morris decides & automatically updates to the rule book to remove 'Interpretation'.

It’s not a facility as it involves a team declaration - a facility is ephemeral.

So a team cannot reintroduce an injured rider if the 28 day rider takes the team average above 39.00 after greensheets then

Working the rule book ....P.Adams is a master of it ...

Precisely the reason I’ve said many times that guests shouldn’t be allowed unless there is 2 or more riders missing. Wolves should either have to sign somebody or use RR

Because at that point he was, do keep up

I thought he had to stay as the injury replacement rider, not chop and change to a guest when it suits. It seems obvious that Nicholls couldn't make Monday so had to make something up pretty quick.

If this weather we have continues, we might not have a meeting. Depending on tomorrow's forecast i wouldn't be surprised if it's called early.

Forecast much more encouraging this morning compared to last night. Hope that remains the case!

Looking forward to my first away meeting of the season for Wolves, 2nd visit here after attending the Ben Fund Bonzaza. Wolves have made a super start and have faith in them to take a close win this evening. King's Lynn have struggled away, may be different at their first home meeting of the season. I'm leaving just before 2pm, so hoping for it to stay dry for a great meeting.
