Glasgow v Edinburgh , Easter Sunday

Recommended Posts

Well I'm man enough to say brilliant from bomber in 13 and 15 when pressure was on. Long way to getting back in my good books ha.

Looks like 5 HLs and 2 reserves at home, think need to take Tom away from no.5. good last ride from Lee think once gets bit more dialled in will be a decent reserve.

Monarchs a 3 man team as predicted

Certainly take a good Team to beat them at Ashfield.I personally don’t think they have a big home advantage as most riders seem to be able to get round it Ok.Hard to figure away though,Vissing will be the key man IMO.Good to see Cook in good form.Reserves at most Teams seem to be problem and will decide a lot of matches.

Is this being streamed?

Good meeting that really enjoyed it and Edinburgh played there part in making it a good meeting.

Pickering = Class on a bike

We looked strong and will get stronger Claus settled back in as if he had never been away.

Ben should have waited until Cookie took his helmet off before punching him would have made more off an impact.

Followed on speedwayupdates as I’m away this weekend. Sounded like we were hanging in there until that ht10 incident but too heavily reliant on the top two. Was Cook’s move a bit naughty?

Yeah you played your part but we pulled away towards the end.

Was difficult to see exactly from the home straight but I have seen Cookie take that inside line loads of times on the second bend and worked it well.

Bens reaction suggests the Gap wasn’t there.

That's embarrassing. Grow up honestly

Yep it is pretty childish just makes the next meeting more interesting now though.

I find it hard to get upset at this though as he brought a lot to Glasgow during his time here.

I am sure Ben will not be giving a sh*t .

Just feels a desperate attempt to prove himself to the numpty element of their support.

What I find funny is he's actually proving it's him that gives it out but won't take it lol

Just to clarify, it was on the exit of turn two, and Ben was on the outside. What Craig is saying bears no resemblance to what happened. It was a tough move, he deserved to get excluded, although Ben surely knew that was what Craig would do. I'm guessing they weren't the best of friends last year, having seen that.

Of course, because it's Craig, it naturally created a lot of aggro, and because it was on Ben, I think that particularly made it worse. He's such a fabulous rider, but he really is his own worst enemy. The tweet makes it sound like he planned to put him in the fence though, which whether he did or not, it'd be a bad look if he didn't get a ban. Not what I want to see, but you just can't let people say things like that. It's a dangerous enough sport as it is.

Lost in all of that was Kyle Bickley crashing straight into Ben's bike and going for a horrible tumble. I was glad to see him walk away from that, because he was just collateral.
