FB it sounds like 4 or 5 people doing it and it don't think it cos of any dislike (just assuming here!) That's why I think it was just kids booing opposition cos they didn't want them to win the race.

I remember chanting cheat at Bjarne Pedersen one night at Arlington when he slid off to get Poole a tactical in the following heat. Whether he did or not we'll never be sure, ( although the sort of clever thing Matt Ford would have tried I suppose) but it was fun, happy days..... I remember well when Ole Olsen rode for Coventry (I know, I'm getting old !!). He got booed everywhere and by everyone. He was being interviewed on the centre green after a meeting at Wolverhampton. He was obviously amused by the booing and announced to the fans, "You do know that the louder you boo, the faster I go". Not a bad "put down" I thought.
Chris116
I remember back in the 1960s at Wimbledon, Ove Fundin was always booed whenever he visited Plough Lane. No one got worked up about it.

Jack "The Villain" Millen would go out of his way to be booed...he saw himself an "entertainer" giving the public what they wanted.
