But they still had squads of 10/11/12 riders of which they did not pick from. From memory, I think C Holder was one of the riders used in which he was a better rider than the squad members available so what is the use of a squad, covid or not? Sometimes you have to rider with a weaker team!

Basically, teams abused the rules that were set as they were expecting alot more riders to be missing with covid. ‘Guest riders’ were only allowed to ride for one side and once they had signed up, they couldn’t ride for anybody else.

The Poles quickly realised it was a stupid system, the fans hated it and it was dropped after a single year. The only ‘guests’ they still have now is Polish juniors in Division 2 to enhance their own talent and juniors - something similar to another poster suggested earlier in the thread when reserves are missing over here.

Almost sounds like Poland will come up with a rule with the best intentions, the rule gets mis-used so it gets dropped. In GB that rule would likely be kept (Kennett injury rule) as promoters want to take advantage of it (except the Lambert rule).

Klindt cant ride m.g ...never has and  never will ....

I certainly wouldn't say "can't"; he's been perfectly competent at Monmore in his days as a Wolf and occasionally exciting, too. But it's fair to say I would never categorise him as a track specialist!

We won on both visits there last year. But I agree, winning there is not for everybody :P

You must be mistaken, you have imagined those results. Monmore Green is a fortress and nobody wins there.
