Speaking to other Berwick fans at Redcar we all thought use IRR after Leons first ride as it was obvious he was in a lot of pain and discomfort. I was trhen informed we couldn't as he did not injure himself during the meeting.

Yet Wolverhampton could use Scott Nicholls as a guest last night for Luke Becker who had yet rode a competitive meeting for his club.

There is a difference though,Nichols was at the meeting as a guest.Flint was in the Team and didn’t take a ride so don’t see how you can us IRR when he was not injured in the actual meeting.( which I think that is the point of IRR).Perhaps if Flint had withdrew before racing started they would have got RR.

So basically after his first race they could have said he is not fit enough to carry on not that it matters now

Jorgensen used his Prem ave converted as he didn't ride Champ in 2022. He's now back onto his rolling averages (including 2021 matches) so will get a new average on 1st May, along with the rest of the team - unless the rules have changed again!

Knudsen may get a new average sooner. He needs 2 more matches to get a new average, but I don't know if BSN qualifiers count?

Berwick don't have a league match until May 6th.

Unless BSN matches are included as 'official' fixtures -- which I doubt -- none of their averages will change on May 1st, as I see it.........

Bad planning yet again then

Not if the promotion were happy with the 7 riders signed & weren't planning on making any changes!

I think the Team was built round the hope that Flint will really step up this season and Jonas developing fast.Time will tell.

When do you think they will change?

Updated MA’s will be calculated monthly on a rolling basis on all eligible meetings from the past 2 seasons, up to and including 23rd of the month, to become effective from the 1st of the following month.

Most of them on June 1st.

Maybe slightly earlier for TJ or Jonas, if theirs are special circumstances.....

Going by the fixture list, come May 23rd Jonas will have had 7 League meetings for Berwick. He needs to have ridden in 8 to get a proper MA so looks like July 1st before his average changes.

For riders getting a non-rolling average, it should be 7 days after their 8th match, so Knudsen wouldn't have to wait till July 1st

From what I have seen somewhere, a rolling average only includes meetings in 2021 & 2022. As TJ has a converted average from 2022 & looking at the British Speedway site & Berwick's Rider Statistics, it has TJ 0 0 0 0 across the board. To me, as a guess, he will have to ride in 8 Qualifying(League) meetings before he gets a new average. His 10 meeting rolling average is from the Premiership in 2022 & has a 20 meeting rolling average in the Championship from 2021 which I do not think would count.

Gambo is the one in the know who will put you right.
