Jonas was always going to be missing according to Gary Flint surprised they agreed if they knew that.

If they knew in advance, I'm surprised they didn't try & race this match on another date as there's plenty spares. If it was late notice then I can understand not changing the fixture.

However even with Knudsen Berwick were never going to claw back 16 points, so no harm in him missing this one.

Suppose if you going to have bad one as team it was tonight

3 gates  3 race wins   tells the tale

RR does not work for Knudsen sadly

No easier next Saturday against good Scunthorpe who will have strong reserve for Kennedy for sure

Only pass marks Flint and Coles

The way Berwick's team was built it clearly weakens them using r/r for Knudsen. Nothing they can do about it though as it's their only option. Just need the top 4 to all be firing.

Think it’s obvious last weekend was a blip/ a very poor Edinburgh team.

Been to every meeting h&a this season so far, Connor Coles has been brilliant, Leon doing his job at home but not away at all, Rory’s had 3 good meetings, 3 bad, TJ and Jye have had a couple of ok meetings each, which just isn’t good enough. Fans aren’t going to put up with this, especially when it’s a double header next weekend.

Totally agree with all the above,be interesting to see what the crowds like next week, didn't look a big crowd if you took away Redcars following, how much is a double header this season?

Bullets should easily win next weekend so that's a plus

Jye Etheridge is fastly becoming not only Edinburgh’s worst ever rider, but Berwicks aswell. Woeful

He has some distance to go until he claims that award.

personally not sure why Berwick fans are so unhappy , most seasons they lose an absolute hatful at home and with signing Jorgensen on a 9 plus average it was never going to end well.

Rubbish side , rubbish track .

Agree with Jorgensen, rubbish side and rubbish track. But why aren’t Berwick fans allowed to be unhappy? We’ve had no form of success for 11 years and even that was only a 4’s win, only made the play offs once since then too when over half the league gets in nowadays, we are taken for mugs year in, year out. Of course you build a team to a budget, but you build wisely, when was the last time we built a competitive team?

Track is what it is, same for both teams every week frustratingly away riders usually ride it better than the home team.

It was more sarcasm. When Newport used to be in the bottom stages most years we were always told to make do with what we had or lose it.

it seems majority of clubs have to settle for mediocrity at best or lose their clubs , like Workington and Newport. Their final years went all out and ended up with fantastic teams but gone the next year.

being a speedway fan of nearly 25 years , Berwick have more often than not been near the bottom and this year will be no different. Whoever decided to use a 6.5-7 point rider as a 9 point number one needs their heads examined. Scheiln has always blown hot and cold , if he doesnt like the conditions he throws a tantrum and acts like a baby and that will more often than not reflect on the rest of the team. Awful team building.

Superb from Redcar, only Flint and Coles deserve a mention for Bandits. How the Redcar Heat leaders  can win by the length of the straight with ease beats me.No doubt it will be “set up” or “track prep” that caught as out as usual. The Bears certainly had the track sussed after one ride..

All the action was finished by the end the back strait 1st lap.Poor value for money.IMO.

Gate & go for bandits meetings as it's been for years now & hopefully there's better value at bullets home meetings this season

The best of it is 99% of Berwick fans knew it was an awful team, apart from the promotion… makes you think. Jorgensen a 7 pointer and always will be, waste of 2.5 points is unforgivable

At least when Peter Waite signed 3 9.00 assessed Czechs that year you knew he done it tactically looking to make changes further on in the year.

Many early season predictions had Edinburgh, Berwick and Brum as the bottom three and early indications are that they are probably correct. As for the track, it seems the club have done all they can to the corners to make racing better but while the straights and entrances/exits to the bends are so narrow and there is no leeway to change it due to the football pitch then it little will change unfortunately.

Berwick need at least two changes to be competitive IMO, no idea who but Etheridge and Stoneman out and two solid middle order men in would do the trick.

The Berwick track isn't the worst imo. Their meeting on bsn was far better than meetings at Poole and Edinburgh and not just because we won!! The team was always poor, I hope have signings lined up as and when new averages.

Can't help think be better for both parties for Leon to have a couple seasons away if he's ever going to become a top CL rider

Most fans who follow the sport closely can pretty much nail most play off and wooden spoon contenders well before a race is run..

And they also then pretty accurately predict what impact any changes made will have..

They know that, in the main, the riders average, and past performances at their own track, will be the key determinate on how the season unfolds..

You dont get too many surprises in Speedway, especially when you are dealing with riders of five years or more experience, who will pretty much be, in the most cases, at or around the level they will always be at..

If a team looks a wooden spoon contender in the eyes of a clubs most loyal followers, it will be based on some quite considerable knowledge, and very often, proved correct...

Promoters on the other hand, have to talk up their teams, as predicting a poor season isnt generally a great idea...:D

Deep down though, if they have even the slightest idea of the sport, they will know what they have...

And if it looks like a bottom of the table team, then, most seasons, it usually will be..

Let's be honest, the promotion aren't going to do a Press Release at the start of the season and say "Sorry folks, but you've got a poor team team watch this season.  We've got it wrong this year", are they?
