Another of our heroes gone.

RIP

Happening all the time, Steve. At least he was a decent age. I lost two friends on Saturday; one was 54, the other was 52. Last week I discovered I'd lost another friend. She was 33...

Sorry to hear that Chunky...no ages at all. Life can be cruel at times.

It scares me that I'm 60 - and I'm outliving most of my friends!

Yes it's often said that we are living longer but I have often questioned that generalisation.

I can't believe it, such sad news Jim Lightfoot and Col Smith both gone within a few days of each other, good guys and team mates.

Rest in peace Col, my thoughts are with your family and close friends.

My era at Brandon is disappearing fast   :(

It's a bit like my first year watching Oxford in 1972. From the starting line up only two survive...Rick Timmo and Norman Strachan. Those no longer with us include Garry Middleton, Oyvind S.Berg, Ken McKinlay, Colin Gooddy and Svein Kaasa. Thankfully Gordon Kennett and Malcolm Ballard who appeared later are still with us.
