Cracking meeting. It's been a long time since we've seen so much overtaking. I'm assuming the lack of comments here means not many watching. They don't know what they are missing!!

Always impressed with the Euro Champs..

Lots of "second level down" riders competing against each other with the odd "top level rider"...

A very level playing field for many of them, which often leads to great racing..

Great meeting. Saturday night racing, what more could you want.

Got to love Kolodziej....

Great to watch...

Fantastic Speedway all night...

Gustrow back to its best after a few years of being a bit too grippy..

Shame really as this series has already somewhat died a death by Kolodziej and Kubera missing the first round and Wozniak who is currently in 3rd not taking any further part - leaving it as a straight shoot out between Madsen and Michelson.

Think you talked too soon

leaderboard after 2 of the 4 rounds

Michelsen 29

Madsen 20

Lebedevs 19

Woryna 19

Dudek 18

Kolodziej 17

Berge 15

I have been saying for years why do Discovery have a GP in Teterow when Gustrow produces way better racing....madness. Probably the same reason they go to Gorzow rather than Czestochowa or Bydgoszcz......money. Short term corporate greed rather than showcasing speedway at its best to attract the future generations.

Yep instead of it being a straight shoot out between two, it should be a one horse race now!

Money ? Yes, in that staging clubs have to pay a fee to stage an SGP round, which was €10,000 a few years ago, and maybe more now in 2023.

Thsts why some tracks which we as fans would make great SGP hosts do not stage them, they have to pay a staging fee and also be FIM approved.
