Have they changed the rules for 5/6 rider run-offs? The live updates commentary seems to suggest a departure from past practice.

When five riders are tied on points, the following run-off schedule must be used: Heat 1: Riders A, B and C Heat 2: Riders D and E Heat 3: 2 nd and 3rd from heat 1 and 2 nd from heat 2 Heat 4: 1 st from heat 1, 1st from heat 2, 1 st and 2 nd from heat 3The riders must be balloted to heats 1 and 2

Why not make it simpler and count 3:s, 2:s, 1:s, 0:s and only use run off if positions still can't be separated.

In that case Hansen and Lyager wouldn't have been in the run off-

Not sure i agree- that is obviously used for sorting out who reaches semi`s and finals but for qualification for other rounds and finals i think the fairer way is run-offs.

I know that TVP Sport will once again have the final series live for Polish viewers. I also know that English commentary will once again be provided by Onesport(Dave Rowe and Sam Ermolenko i assume). What i do hope is that Onesport forget making it PPV for UK viewers - if they continue how they did it in 2022 then my opinion is  they can take a running jump !!!
